The role

Our Maintenance Assistants help to keep facilities in good operating condition to aid smooth running of the hotels. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Leicester - voco Leicester

Maintenance Assistant responsibilities include:

• Supporting the management of all maintenance requirement across the hotel, including infrastructure, repairs and renovations
• Conducting planned preventative maintenance and systematic testing of rooms and electrical equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating

Medical Equipment Maintenance Assistant

(BAND 3)

The Clinical Engineering department are looking for a dynamic Medical Equipment Maintenance Assistant to join our small but dedicated Gas team tasked with the service and repair of over 8500 electro-mechanical devices used throughout the Leicester NHS Trust as well as some of the county based hospitals around Leicestershire.

The role mainly centres around the service and repair of gas based devices such as oxygen flowmeters, suction controllers and cylinder regulators and expands in to other such devices like gas blenders. As such experience in Mechanical systems or Pneumatics would be a distinct advantage as well as prior experience of working in a technical services department. However, training will be provided to the right individual if the correct aptitude is shown.

You will have a safety conscious approach to your work and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels. An ability to cope under pressure, be adaptable and multi-task is required. Experience of using an equipment database and associated IT skills will be a distinct advantage.

This is a demanding position and you will play a major part in achieving service objectives in a busy and technically challenging environment governed by an ISO9001 quality system.

A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Waste Management Facilities Officer based at Macduff to assist in the delivery of an effective HWRC and Waste Disposal service in a defined area. This post participates in a shift rota to cover business hours and the days of work will vary according to the needs of the service, including weekends as appropriate. THE ROLE OF - FACILITIES SUPPORT ASSISTANT

- To support a large team within the delivery department
- Register and process all products that come into and out of the department, supporting the organisation on-site.
- Plus, be able to produce accurate delivery notes for deliveries when required.
- Assist with product movement between locations, including loading vehicles when required, including organising and booking deliveries where required.
- Responsible for the safety of colleagues in the workplace, reporting or dealing with any hazards, incidents, and accidents to the site manager.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
- Completing various tasks around the department that may take on a more specialised role, which will be led by the demands of the day.
- Securely packing products for every delivery when required.

THE RIGHT SKILL-SET - FACILITIES ASSISTANT

- Be able to plan, and prioritise your workload while staying focused in a busy environment.
- Have experience in a similar role or environment.
- Work well under pressure, have a flexible attitude, and be responsive to change.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
- Plus, be helpful and friendly, in a professional manner at all times.
