What you'll be doing;

• Conduct scheduled physical inspections by company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
  
• Carry out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks and report findings with the shift supervisor and maintenance supervisor
  
• Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
  
• Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
  
• The Senior Technician is required to have an excellent understanding of the SCADA system and will be expected to independently fault-find and rectify issues via this and the plant's equipment
  
• Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands-on expertise in rectifying and preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
  
• Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary pre-start equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisor

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. Other duties include developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues within the division and across the company, actively participating in regular team discussions and acting as a point of contact for junior members of the team. Further duties include processing and producing debit notes and closings as well as submitting to Bureaux, maintaining electronic filing systems, making and reconciling payments to Bureau under terms of trade, liaising with clients and Underwriters, dealing with complex issues and queries from brokers and clients. Also, providing regular feedback to the reporting manager, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, assisting with special projects, proactively networking to expand market knowledge and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.

Carry out routine scheduled checks, readings and quality control tests for areas and equipment that the post holder is responsible for. Responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities for which they are responsible are maintained in such a way as to ensure correct functioning and specification. Act as deputy to the Chief Radiopharmacy Technician to cover for some of the routine duties normally performed, apart from in those areas where the post-holder is not accredited to do so. These may include rescheduling and prioritising work and supervising the deployment of technical staff as well as deploying contingency plans. Act to resolve any problems that arise during manufacture, the operation of the facility and any equipment, operating within the terms of Standard Operating Procedures. Liase with Estates department, external contractors with regards to PPM and repair work of equipment, HVAC and facilities Actively participate in the Trusts appraisal process as an appraisee. Actively participate in the Trusts appraisal process as an appraiser for junior staff 5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR POLICY AND SERVICE DEVELOPMENT All duties must be carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, The Medicines Act 1968, The Radioactive Substances act 1993. The Ionising radiation Regulations, The Ionising Radiation (Medical exposures) Regulation and The Data Protection Act 1984 and any other relevant Guidance notes and Departmental Local Rules Be designated as an IR(ME)R operator by the Trust in respect to Radiopharmacy technical duties and know the legal implications involved. Be designated as a Classified Worker by the Trust under the Ionising Radiations Regulations (IRR). This will include participation in personal monitoring for radioactive contamination. Work in accordance with Local Rules, relevant legislation, codes of practice and regulations relating to the use of radioactive material and, in general, to observe safe procedures and good practice in all aspects of patient investigations and radiation work. Work in accordance with SOPs, following GMP, QA and GCP. Review current practice and propose changes where appropriate where benefit to users, other healthcare professionals and patients may result, to contribute to the development of the radiopharmacy service. The role will inched the analysis of data under existing Binding Authority Agreements. Dealing with Market statistics (PI / Earned to Incurred etc). Preparation of MRC slips and endorsements, as well as updating and maintaining monthly Earned to Incurred statistics. Compiling and maintaining risk level data for Binding Authority Agreements. Knowledge and use of Lloyd's systems eg DComm/Lineage (would be advantageous). You will also produce open market MRC Slips and Endorsements on occasions.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with Non Marine or Property risks emanating ideally from North America will contribute to your success in securing this role. Experience of Binding Authorities as well as DComm/Lineage would be advantageous. You will be technically astute and ideally, you will have an experience in MRC slip production and endorsements. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Cross training to NA Property and Transportation will be offered

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician within the Marine Operations team, means you will have an excellent level of Technical Insurance knowledge to both process and support managers and team members in a technical capacity and provide support and assistance to the team in India. Duties will also include end to end premium processing, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using Global XB. You will have a strong understanding and experience working with the Bureau in the workings of accounting and settlement protocols, extensive understanding of MRCs, working knowledge of Lineslips and Binding Authorities. Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician means you will be acting as the go to person for all technical auditing, authorisation and issuance support. You will have an ability to demonstrate excellent technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the industry and its regulators. Your new job will be responsible for auditing and authorising invoices and evidence of cover documentation as well as ensuring the documentation is compliant with the information agreed within the Market Reform Contract Slip and any associated instruction or schedule. Demonstrating a working understanding of all the resources available in relation to current Tax and VAT requirements associated with the successful completion of day-to-day activities and extensive understanding of MRCs.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.

Band 5 Senior Pharmacy Technician – Medicines Management

This post is based on Barnet Hospital of the Royal Free Hospital Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and adaptable Pharmacy Technician with good communication and interpersonal skills to take on this challenging post. Your role will involve working with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and other health care professionals on providing Medicines Management services at ward level.

The post holder will support the ward pharmacists to carry out medicines reconciliation for our newly admitted patients and the assessment of patients own drugs. You will support the day-to-day coordination of the satellite pharmacy by providing original pack dispensing, patient counselling and co-ordination of the supply of discharge medicines to our patients.

You will be an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) and a qualified Medicine Management Pharmacy Technician. You must have evidence of registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have good post qualification experience working as a Pharmacy Technician within an NHS Hospital Pharmacy.

The post holder will ensure that the Medicines Management is delivered in a safe, effective, economic, and timely manner. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation and procedures are carried out in accordance with current legislation and guidelines.

Medicines Management will include supporting medicines optimisation at ward level. They will support the Pharmacy Technician Specialist (Medicines Management) in developing and maintaining the medicines management service at ward level. This will include the assessment of patients own drugs, medicines reconciliation, providing original pack dispensing, counselling patients about their medicines, top-ups, medicine returns and co-ordinating supply of discharge medicines which includes dispensing TTAs on the wards. The post holder will also support the induction and training of a range of staff, including (but not limited to) Pharmacy technicians, Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPTs) and Trainee Pharmacists (TPs).
