About the Role
Base Location: Peterhead Power Station, Aberdeenshire
Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our Thermal team based at Peterhead Power Station. Reporting into the Lead Asset Engineer Mechanical and Projects, you will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Asset Management system IBM Maximo, including the creating, auditing, updating, scheduling, managing job plans, preventive maintenance routines, and work orders, to meet the company objectives in terms of SHE performance, cost, reliability, efficiency and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are coordinated, scheduled, and executed to meet scheduled completion dates and to minimize impact to the operations in accordance with the guidance provided by the station Operation and Maintenance team.
- Comply with company policies and procedures for the procurement of goods and works, monitor and track procurement of goods in conjunction with the business support department and manage KPI reporting for the site and schedules associated with works for revenue and capital projects.
- Contribute to the annual budget preparation and manage expenditure within your area of responsibility, including accurate forecasting and receipting.
- Co-ordinate the station schedule in conjunction with operations, maintenance and engineering ensuring priority works are agreed and scheduled.
- There is a general responsibility to maintain compliance with legislation, in addition you may have responsibility for maintaining station compliance with specific areas of legislation such as the dangerous substances and explosive atmosphere regulations.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- HND in engineering or similar technical discipline.
- Previous industrial technical experience in power generation or process industry.
- Skilful in using enterprise asset management software, i.e. IBM Maximo or similar application and familiar with maintenance management activities.
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams.
