To co-ordinate local arrangements for disaster contingency and, in conjunction with the Trust IT Support Department, ensure that disaster recovery processes are in place and tested for the pharmacy stock management and dispensing systems. To act as the local administrator of the Powergate e-commence purchasing and invoicing system and to act as the liaison with the supplier in the event of system failure. To maintain the operation of Rx-Info Define, including creating daily stockholding record and maintaining Issues Report. To identify data quality issues and action as appropriate; To identify system-specific risk management issues for incorporation in Directorate risk registers. To participate in Quality Governance arrangements in the Pharmacy. To participate in weekend and bank holiday working in accordance with departmental rotas. Any other duties which may be requested by the Head of Medicines Management in consultation. To maintain confidentiality at all times relating to the patients, staff and the Trust. To actively participate in the Staff Appraisal Process. To be familiar and comply with relevant Operational, Personnel, Health and Safety policies and procedures, including Fire, COSHH, No Smoking and Alcohol. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to local infection control policies.
