We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based in Liverpool. This role will involve working in a team of 2 carrying out grounds maintenance tasks, the removal of fly tipping and general cleaning tasks including clearing of properties, replacing fencing, paving, landscaping and general caretaking duties across various sites in the North West. A van and tools will be provided to assist in this role. Development opportunities are available within the team for you to develop your skills and career.

The role of Estate Technician will include:

- Grass cutting, litter picking and gutter cleaning

Overview of role


Location: Liverpool Hotplate
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Liverpool Hotplate team and support our Engineering agenda. The role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a varied and challenging one and the ideal candidate will be able to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and services associated with a major bakery. Responsibilities also involve improving and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring that team members are fully aware and comply with all Health and Safety standards, company and legal requirements eg: Isolation and Lock Off, Permit to Work, COSSH and HACCP.
This is a day based role that also includes providing holiday cover for the four shift electricians who work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights).




Key Accountabilities


You will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment; you will be expected to diagnose faults and install, repair, inspect, calibrate and overhaul plant / machinery electrically as well as mechanically to maximise machine availability and ensure continuous improvements within the plant and facilities in compliance with Health and Safety, GMP and best-proactive guidelines and procedures to ensure right first time processing of manufactured products.
Other duties include:

- To maintain a safe working environment through the use of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Clean as You Go (CAYG), Hazard reporting and Point of Work Risk Assessment procedures.
- To support the manufacturing process and maximise plant availability by responding safely and effectively to plant breakdowns, carry out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive in the correction and modification of reoccurring machine faults
- To ensure that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard
- To fault find in a safe and effective manner, to identify root cause of plant breakdowns.
- To work along side and have harmonious relations with operational staff and to work flexibly with them.
- To ensure that the findings of inspections, reporting of faults and the completion of all scheduled work is reported on the Computer Maintenance Management System.

You will be required to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs. Within this role, you will be an integral member of the Medicines Management team, which forms part of the wider cluster of Healthcare Services. Practice Plus Group policies and procedures and statutory frameworks governing patient care in a prison setting, will be used in order to deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week and will require travel to our 3 services throughout Liverpool. You will be a compassionate and motivated Pharmacy Technician, registered with the GPhC and holding the NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services BTEC Pharmacy Technician or equivalent. Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years' post qualification experience, although we are open to conversations with all suitably qualified candidates, as full training will be given. Working knowledge of substance misuse would be advantageous. This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it's important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. You will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
