About the job: We are currently seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our Singaporean team. As a Service Manager, you will assist the company with all after sales service matters including but not limited to telephone technical support, fault finding, machine repairs, warranty claims and spare parts processing.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage product distribution and training throughout Pre delivery, Service, Parts, Warranty & aftermarket support.
2. Market analysis, Marketing strategies, Product development & pricing for the parts and service business.
3. Provide feedback and technical guidance to the Dingli Service Team on design and performance improvements that are required for the Singapore and Asia Pacific markets on a monthly basis.
4. Provide details of the work carried out, parts used, time and mileage of van, with any comments appropriate to Dingli while repairing machines.
5. Build relationships with the key service personnel at each customer.
6. Develop and maintain product safety programs throughout the Asia Pacific region.
7. Drive projects for continuous improvement and streamline existing processes in the Asia Pacific region.
8. Develop budgets, manage P&L responsibilities, forecast revenue, COS and Expenses, monthly progress forecasting and planning.
9. Provide operational leadership for product sales and service team within the Asia Pacific region.
10. Human Resource Management including Goal alignment, workforce planning, performance management, retention strategies and conflict resolution.
11. Provide technical support, training and build a strong service team.
1. College degree in engineer or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years experience as a service manager or similar role in the mechanical or equivalent industry.
3. Knowledge of equipment rental companies in Singapore will be an advantage.
4. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
5. Knowledge of aerial work platforms or material handling equipment.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
7. Strong problem-solving skills.
8. Fluent written and spoken English.
9. Current permanent work rights with no restriction in Singapore.
10. Strong leadership,excellent communication and management skills.
