We are looking to appoint a Site Technician to assist with general caretaking duties within the school and wider academy trust as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake site maintenance to the highest standard, ensuring that a safe working environment is practiced at all times. A working knowledge and experience of any of the following would be an advantage; carpentry, electrics, plumbing, decorating and or construction. There will be opportunities to help with the future development of the school grounds and buildings. Flexibility will be needed to assist with staff holidays and absences as needed.
The working pattern is 7.00am until 3.00pm and 11.00am until 7.00pm on alternating weeks.
Examples of duties include; full training will be provided.
Water temperatures check
Fire safety checks
Grounds clearing and inspections.
General maintenance and repairs
Assisting with school events.
Liaising with / working with contractors

We will offer training in all duty areas and will help to develop your current skillset. Rodbaston College boasts a purpose built and fully equipped grooming salon. This facility is used extensively as a curriculum resource by students and clients. The post holder will ideally have dog grooming and administration experience.

Domestic Gas Repair & Maintenance Engineer Needed (Mobile Role)

Area: Cannock & surrounding area

Time: Full time

Salary : £28080-£38450 per annum (Based on experience & qualifications)

Overview of Role:

The primary responsibility of the Gas Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.

Key Attributes & Requirements:

• Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role
• A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants
• It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
