Melbourne-based Refrigeration Technician - ammonia handling experience required Your new company My client is one of the largest Industrial Refrigeration Companies in Australia. They provide complete industrial refrigeration solutions including design, construction and comprehensive servicing for a wide range of sectors including meat, dairy, pharmaceutical, cold storage and logistics etc. Your new role As a Refrigeration Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing refrigeration systems for a diverse client base. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial refrigeration systems.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Installing new refrigeration units and components as needed.
Collaborating with clients to provide exceptional service and support.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in refrigeration system maintenance and repair.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex refrigeration issues.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensuring systems are functioning optimally and safely.
Customer Service: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and provide top-notch service.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
Ammonia Exposure: Experience and comfort working with ammonia-based refrigeration systems, including knowledge of safety protocols and handling procedures.
