A wonderful family in Robertsbridge, East Sussex is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in caring for their two school-aged children and maintain their property. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. Both parents work in London so the ideal candidate will be someone proactive and very independent that can look after the house as well as looking after their children. This is an amazing opportunity for someone that have passion for horses as the family have nine stables and they would need some help with the horses and ponies while the children are at school. A driver who holds a full driving license and preferably owns a car is required for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 60 hours per week plus 1 night of babysitting. Any extra babysitting will be paid.
Accommodation: Own room and bathroom. They have a flat in London that the nanny can use on her days off.
Duties include:
Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Tidying up children's bedrooms and play areas
Playing with the children and taking them to the park
Reading to and playing with the children
Helping with homework
Implementing daily routines
Maintaining a clean family home
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
Deep cleaning the kitchen
Washing clothes
Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
Ironing
Making up the beds and changing the linens
Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Running errands
Cooking and preparing meals for the family
The family are looking for someone to hire on the 1st of January 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
