What skills and experience we're looking for
LEO AcademyTrust is now seeking to appoint an outstanding Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity for you to join a friendly, forward thinking finance team within a growing Multi-Academy Trust of 9 schools at an exciting time in its development.
Based at our Central Trust Office you will be responsible for preparing the monthly Management Accounts collaborating with the Director of Finance and stakeholders across the Trust. Working closely with both the Director of Finance and Operational teams you will
• A relevant professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or comparable experience)
• Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to manipulate, interpret, and present complex data
• Experience assisting in the budget preparation and monitoring of a maintained school, academy, or similar educational organisation
• Experienced in leading and managing teams and can develop supportive relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
• Proficiency in financial accounting and budgeting software packages working to deadlines
