Cleaner with key holder responsibilities Grade: B point 3-4 £22,737-£23,114 FTE, actual salary £19,054-£19,370Hours/weeks: Full time, Monday-Friday, 37 hours a week, term time only, start time required is 6:30am to include opening up the buildingZaytouna Primary School is seeking to appoint a conscientious and reliable cleaner to join our experienced and friendly team. The successful applicant will carry out general cleaning duties to provide a clean, hygienic and safe environment for our children. You will also have key holding responsibilities ensuring that the school is opened and secured.You will:
• have a basic understanding of different cleaning methods and equipment.• be able to be trained to carry out a range of cleaning duties, including using different equipment and materials safely.• have a basic awareness of Health and Safety.• be able to work as part of a team.• be able to work on own initiative and to ask for help when required.• have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.• Be punctual and reliable.
