DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To carry out daily cleaning routines as scheduled. To carry out cleaning tasks as per rota. To handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures. To unpack and stack all linen and laundry. To regenerate cook/chill meals recording the temperatures of food at stages defined as appropriate within the relevant wards. To ensure kitchen equipment, regeneration equipment and all surfaces are clean at all times. To ensure food is ready to be served at the correct times for service and all waste food is discarded immediately after service. To ensure the dining room is cleaned after each meal. To wash-up and account for all cutlery and crockery and kitchen utensils after meals and breaks.

The post involves shift working including lates, earlies, weekends, and bank holidays over a rolling rota, whereby weekend and banks holidays are paid at an enhanced rate. You may be asked to work extra so flexibility is required.

What will you bring as General Operative?


Previous experience of working as a General Operative or Labourer in a maintenance or similar trade-based environment would be ideal
Working within Void properties able to support some refurb works such as Painting and loft installation works.
Flexibility to help multi operatives undergo 2 person jobs and to complete general void repairs
Ensuring Environment is clean and clear
The ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of public and residential environments, with a flexible, positive, and can-do attitude, essential
The ability to use initiative and problem solve whilst also recognising the importance of communicating and working effectively with others.
Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, which is essential to undertake the General Operative role

A. OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION - SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
1. Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
2. Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor's scope of experience and qualification.
3. To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a Service Person's ability to undertake their duties.
4. To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
5. To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
B. STANDARDS TO WHICH A GENERAL PRACTITIONER (GP WITH MOD EXPERIENCE MUST COMPLY WHEN PROVIDING THE SERVICES
6. To comply with relevant Contracting Authority policy as notified to the doctor.
7. To comply with regulatory standards set out by the General Medical Council's (GMC) Good Medical Practice (GMP) document.
8. To comply with Joint Service Publication (JSP) 950 Medical Policy.
C. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
9. Registration with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the General Medical Council (GMC) GP Register without Restrictions.
10. A copy of the Doctor(s) Fitness to Practise declaration must be provided to the Contracting Authority prior to any GP undertaking duties under the Contract.
11. Must have a current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the General Medical Council's (GMC's) Good Medical Practice (GMP).
12. Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) Experience.

Role commencing ASAP Warehouse role consisting of Packing and Picking.
