What the Job Looks Like:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within the criminal justice system? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a General Instructor at HMP Addiewell. In this role you will cater for a wide range of educational and vocational needs for the 796 prisoners.

This will be done through assisting with workshops and supporting the employment team in managing attendance, performance and quality of work delivered. You will be creative in planning your teaching, using a variety of innovative and captivating resources whilst being able to deliver in an enthusiastic and inspirational manner. The successful candidate should aspire to provide stimulating and challenging experiences that will enable all learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes and values that will prepare them for life today and in the future. Expected Skills/Competencies:

• SCQF Level 7 in a teaching discipline (or equivalent) or achieve this within eighteen months of undertaking the role.
• Experience of teaching employability skills to adults across a range of abilities, including supporting students from deprived backgrounds.
• Experience of working with persons with a range of additional support needs across a range of ages and stages.
• Demonstrable experience of the SQA framework or of an Industry or Educational Standard.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
• Good general IT knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, while keeping organised and utilising problem-solving skills.

Previous experience of working as a General Operative or Labourer in a maintenance or similar trade-based environment would be ideal
Working within Void properties able to support some refurb works such as Painting and loft installation works.
Flexibility to help multi operatives undergo 2 person jobs and to complete general void repairs
Ensuring Environment is clean and clear
The ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of public and residential environments, with a flexible, positive, and can-do attitude, essential
The ability to use initiative and problem solve whilst also recognising the importance of communicating and working effectively with others.

A. OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION - SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
1. Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
2. Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor's scope of experience and qualification.
3. To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a Service Person's ability to undertake their duties.
4. To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
5. To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
B. STANDARDS TO WHICH A GENERAL PRACTITIONER (GP WITH MOD EXPERIENCE MUST COMPLY WHEN PROVIDING THE SERVICES
6. To comply with relevant Contracting Authority policy as notified to the doctor.
7. To comply with regulatory standards set out by the General Medical Council's (GMC) Good Medical Practice (GMP) document.
8. To comply with Joint Service Publication (JSP) 950 Medical Policy.
C. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
9. Registration with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the General Medical Council (GMC) GP Register without Restrictions.

Role commencing ASAP Warehouse role consisting of Packing and Picking.

Work within a prestigious clean modern warehouse environment based outside of Sleaford area.

The role will see you working within a team of dedicated, hardworking and welcoming individuals.
You will be working on the picking and packing of plant life such as garden plants bulbs etc, on a commercial scale.
Other responsibilities will include general warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
