Your new role
Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely and strategic content distribution that aligns with company objectives.Collaborate with management to ensure communication strategies are consistent with business unit goals, adapting to market and business changes.Create compelling content for various platforms alongside the marketing team, including news articles, blogs, case studies, and newsletters.Maintain and enhance website content, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and current information.Produce and distribute internal communications, such as newsletters.Monitor media coverage and manage business channel communications.Analyse engagement data for social media, websites, and campaigns to refine content and PR strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
2-3 years of proven experience in content creation, public relations, and article writing for both traditional and digital media.Exceptional storytelling skills with a talent for creating persuasive narratives.Strong interpersonal abilities, enjoying interactions with stakeholders at all levels.Outstanding organisational skills, creativity, and the capacity to manage multiple projects swiftly.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all content and PR initiatives.Proficiency in IT and familiarity with digital content tools.

Media Studies Teacher

Start date: ASAP

End date: 24th May with possibility of being extended

Subject: Media Studies plus a couple of GCSE Fast Track English, A level Media, L2 and L3 BTEC Diploma Creative Media Skills classes.

Timetable: Full Time

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Sixth Form College in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Media Studies Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position until 24th May initially with the possibility to extend. To be successful, you will be a Media Studies Teacher with recent experience teaching GCSE and A Level. Experience of teaching GCSE Fast Track English, A level Media, L2 and L3 BTEC Diploma Creative Media Skills classes is desirable but not essential.

Job Description

• Delivering engaging and creative Media Studies lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teaching a couple of GCSE Fast Track English, A level Media, L2 and L3 BTEC Diploma Creative Media Skills classes
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
• Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Media or related field
• Recent experience teaching Media Studies at secondary school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
• Experience of teaching GCSE Fast Track English, A level Media, L2 and L3 BTEC Diploma Creative Media Skills is desirable but not essential
