Role overview
Due to expansion, we are seeking a highly driven, skilled Copywriter to join our Head Office in Bolton. Whether you have recently
graduated and eager to begin your career, or an experienced Copywriter looking to further your skillset, then this might just be
the opportunity for you!
A key part of the service we provide to our Clients, is the production of informative, engaging documents, used to aid the buying
/ selling process, this is called an Information Memorandum. They are designed to give potential buyers a factual account of the
business and enable them to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the purchase. Your role will be to create an
informative document, representing the facts, working with the Client to ensure their satisfaction. We work to impeccably high
standards and the marketing material we produce is of a high quality – something we would look for this person to replicate in any
document they produce.
Key responsibilities include:
•Interpreting information provided by clients and, if necessary, conducting independent research into the business and its sector
•Collating that information into flawless and informative copy
•Putting the Information Memorandum together, including any design work
•Liaising with the Client, whether it be over phone, Zoom, email or face-to-face to receive feedback and get their approval for
the document
Experience required:
No previous experience or qualifications are required for this role, however we would be particularly interested in speaking to
those with experience / qualifications in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, Media. A degree would be very useful, but
certainly not essential.
•Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a deadline-orientated environment
•Able to work under pressure
•Attention to detail
•IT literate (experience using basic Microsoft package is essential), experience with Adobe InDesign would be an advantage, but is
not essential
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to think creatively and problem solve
•Able to take and action feedback from colleagues and clients
•Experience of document writing in a professional environment would be preferred
•Customer service experience is also essential
Our success wouldn’t be possible without our people. We are an inclusive team and the successful candidate will receive ongoing
support and training from an experienced team of Senior Document Writers, a Proof Reader and the Head of Documentation. As part
of the initial training, for the first couple of months you will be working in our Bolton Head Office. After completion of the
probationary period, you will offered the option to work from home / hybrid, at our discretion.
