POSITION SUMMARY

The (Associate) Lecturer will be required to teach and conduct classes in disciplines relevant to their field of expertise and assist in the academic and administrative, consultative and coordination tasks involved with these courses. Functions associated with the position include presentation of lectures and tutorials, assessment of students and course administration in line with the University’s quality assurance requirements. The Associate Lecturer is also required to undertake research activities in line with the University’s research strategy. It is expected that the (Associate) Lecturer will work under support and guidance to develop expertise in teaching and research with an increasing degree of autonomy.

The (Associate) Lecturer is expected to contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the University, in disciplines related to their field of expertise. Specifically, the (Associate) Lecturer is responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate programs and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities. The (Associate) Lecturer is also expected to actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links, and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities. The (Associate) Lecturer is expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation. The (Associate) Lecturer may be responsible for course coordination.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

1. PhD or equivalent relevant Doctoral qualification from a recognised institution.

2. For Associate Lecturer: A Master degree in the relevant discipline; have commenced or enrolled to commence in Doctoral course is preferred.

3. Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at the undergraduate level, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high-quality curriculum or program materials.

4. Proven proficiency in 2D and 3D Animation, and two or more of the following:

✓ Digital video production

✓ Visual effects & colour grading

✓ 3D motion graphics

✓ Concept art and previsualisation

5. Ability to undertake course coordination role.

6. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students, especially on issues related to effective learning.

7. For lecturer:

✓ Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.

✓ Demonstrated ability to supervise higher-degree research candidates.

✓ Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government.

8. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT

Reporting to the Head, Administration, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support for the Communication and Events (C&E) team. The primary aim of the role will be to facilitate smooth operations, ensuring the seamless and timely execution of events and communication strategies to deliver exceptional experiences to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Work with the C&E team on related matters but not limited to:

Communication and Events

• Provide fresh insights and ideas to enhance the strategic workforce planning for events

• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on communication and events related matters

• Provide logistical support during preparations for events

• Process student assistant claims and assist in procurement related matters, assist in budget projection and managing budget utilisation for C&E

• Manage event inventory – procurement and distribution of event gifts, corporate gifts

• Support the maintenance of WKWSCI social media platforms, working closely with C&E managers and colleagues.

• Work with Communication Manager to design and create content for digital platforms 

• Maintain an editorial calendar for all digital platforms.

• Apply data analytical tools to track sentiment, media mentions. 

Administrative support

• Provide administrative support to the C&E team managers on the full spectrum of tasks and functions related to the team

• Provide administrative support to Assistant Chair (Student Life & Alumni) on matters relating to students and alumni.

• Follow up with students/alumni queries on events or activities.

School Visits

• Take charge of the planning and execution of outreach and admissions related school visits

• Liaise with Office of Admissions for potential school visits from JCs, Polys or IB schools, and the school coordinators in charge of the visits

• Coordinate with Tech team to set up demos as part of the school tour

• Identify and engage suitable students or faculty for the visits

Student and Alumni Engagement

• Provide support in terms of vetting submitted proposals for all student-initiated and/or alumni events, event execution, procurement, handling post-event claims and expenses, and tracking event budgets.

• Maintain and monitor AC-Students and Alumni role-based email account

• Assist with communication materials to students and/or alumni

• Follow up closely with students and/or alumni queries on events and/or activities.

• Work in partnership with the C&E team on student-led activities

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Higher learning institutional work experience will be advantageous.

Summary of Position:

The Plano Event & Food Service Support position partners with Campus Ministries and Support Teams to help organize, coordinate, and execute campus events & food service needs.

The ideal applicant will be skilled in handling a wide range of administrative and logistical tasks. They will also be highly organized and good at multi-tasking. Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events is required. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, time management skills, and effective execution are a must.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures the success of each event by championing policies, procedures, guidelines, and codes pertaining to event planning & food service support
• Builds and maintains effective and positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Provides oversight and direction for all on-site teams including outside vendors while also providing the necessary tools required for them to perform tasks efficiently and effectively
• Manage event planning by possessing a complete knowledge of the Plano Campus and grounds including room capacities, room usage, preferable table and chair set ups, room adjacencies, food service allowances, multimedia equipment availability, traffic flow patterns, facility entrances, parking areas and fire code requirements
• Proactively manage event planning software and ensure all event details are accurately represented in the system
• Contract vendors for events and coordinate on site set ups and teardowns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, pantry, and storage areas

• Correctly document and submit departmental credit card purchases for event and food service support needs

Summary

The Director, Student Life & Event Planning is responsible for taking the lead on implementing Law School events on and off campus, coordinating all student engagement strategies, successfully organizing and developing and maintaining relationships with students, coordinating all aspects of student organizations and identifying and promoting opportunities for students and graduates.

Essential Functions

Student Life Affairs and Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for engagement efforts by cultivating student and alumni contacts through attendance at student organization events, student appointments, monthly community service events, and other activities.
• Coordinate, manage, and execute lead events involving outside stakeholders, law school organizations, alumni, faculty and students. Primary manager for all events done internally or externally for the Dean of the School of Law.
• Direct student life and student organizations to develop and implement career path and professional programs that support students and alumni with career planning and job-search efforts. Programs will include informational sessions, panel discussions including practitioners, and interactive workshops regarding private and public sector jobs and non-traditional jobs.
• Direct Student Life and assist Career Services events such as the planning and implementation of Barristers Ball and other assigned events.
• Take lead on developing and implementing the department's engagement strategies.
• Assist Director with creating advertising materials and directing communication efforts to students and alumni.
• Develop a database of student information and interactions to better promote and connect students and alumni to opportunities.
• Take the lead of seeking Professionalism Hour Approval and assists with reviewing Event Action Forms.
• Perform other functions as assigned

Event Planning

• Meet with the department head and/or organization to determine goals and needs for the event.
• Develop/manage event budget.
• Establish a timeline for the event and assign duties to responsible organizations as needed.
• Determine a list of invitees, design an invitation, and ensure that invitation is distributed in a timely fashion.
• Reserve venue, determine the menu, create room set-up plan for maintenance.
• Design/order/create decoration(s) for event.
• Purchasing/Budgeting for all Institutional Advancement needs including but not limited to: printing, postage, lists, etc. for various mailings; catering/event supplies, vendors, etc.; awards, gifts, and other recognition items; and VIP arrangements.

Manage Career Service Management System 12Twenty, Career Service Employer Website, and Social Media Outlets

• Manage daily functions of the Career Service Management System 12Twenty.
• Serve as a point of contact with 12Twenty.
• Promote 12Twenty to students, graduates, and employers, as a resource.
• Assist with the engagement efforts of all social media and project management outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, Trello, and LinkedIn.
• Supervise providing content, daily engagement with followers, and reviewing the department's Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn social media accounts. Includes the approval and management of Facebook postings in each of the Class pages.
• Develop a database of student information and interactions to better promote and connect students and alumni to opportunities.
• Develop on campus networking events with the aim to expose students to members of the legal community and nontraditional JD Preferred employers.

Statistical Reporting

• Assist the Director with maintaining the integrity of information for the online database as needed.
• Conduct statistical analysis regarding all Career Services and Student Life efforts to evaluate and plan future goals and programming.
• Assist with processing at-graduation and 9-month post-graduation surveys.
• Reporting accomplishments and achievements of the department to different boards and reports.

Coordinate, manage and execute events involving student and co-curricular organizations.  Primary manager for all events done internally or externally that relate to the Law School.

• Meet with student organization president or e-board members to determine goals and needs for various events throughout the year.
• Determine a list of invitees, design invitation and ensure that invitation is distributed in a timely fashion.

Coordinate third party use of law school facilities

• Determine in coordination with the dean if the proposed use is consistent with the mission of the law school and/or the university.
• Allocate/coordinate the required resources (place, time, set-up, etc.).
• Ensure that third-party users have sufficient liability insurance.
• Determine and collect fees to be paid to law school for use of the premises.
• Attend and promote future job fairs associated with the department, Increase yearly student participation in these events.
• Participate in community and professional associations and regularly attend meetings.
• • Develop, promote, and organize monthly off-campus community service events including community service opportunities that allow students to network with members of the legal community.

Perform other related duties as assigned or required

Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Legal Studies, Marketing, or related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of work-related experience.
• Ability to analyze economic and job markets, notice changes, anticipate changes, and relay that information to students.
• Possession of a high level of project and process management skills; very detailed planning required for short and long-term projects, often working with several staff members.
• Strong oral and written communication skills over a variety of media with students, alumni, staff, faculty, lawyers, judges, employers, and the general public.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement, in coordination with other quality actors, the intranet web page for Qustainability (Sustainability program in Quality function)

• Organise and run awareness and engagement sessions across the Airbus countries, physical and remote, and in particular the Climate Fresk sessions

• Maintain traceability of both awareness and engagement actions carried out, and sustainability action plans agreed by the quality teams

Within ATR Support & Services organization in Toulouse, the Department "Customers Relation & Field Service" is the main interface of ATR customers for all topics related to their in-service fleet.

The team is divided in 2 groups:

- the Customer Support Directors are in charge of the global relationship with the customers. They are the voice of the customers within ATR, the voice of ATR for customers, contributing to and monitoring ATR Customers global satisfaction throughout their ATR fleet operations (maintenance, engineering, logistics, flight operations, etc.)

- the Field Service Representatives are in charge of supporting ATR airlines with their aircraft maintenance and operations, from the field. Based at customer's premises or in a regional office, their mission is to ensure fleet performance, meaning maximum aircraft availability with optimized maintenance cost.

The apprentice will participate and contribute to most activities of the department, with a sense of collaboration & autonomy. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join the team.

ACTIVITIES

Your main tasks consist in:

• Managing the continuous improvement of the processes and tools of the Department

• Supporting the Customer Support Directors in monitoring, developing and maintaining customer satisfaction through ATR customers survey and associated action plan

• Providing enhanced & up-to-date library of presentations, tools and templates to ensure efficient communication with ATR customers during on-site visits or virtual meetings

• Supporting the Customer Support Directors in the preparation of senior management meetings with customers

PROFILE

Apprenticeship student at Level 7 or Master degree or graduate engineer program or business school, in the field of project management, quality management applied to customer relations.

ACTIVITES

Vos tâches principales consistent à :

• Gérer l'amélioration continue des processus et des outils du département

• Soutenir les Customer Support Directors dans le suivi, le développement et le maintien de la satisfaction client grâce aux enquêtes auprès des clients d'ATR et au plan d'action associé

• Fournir une bibliothèque de présentations, d'outils et de modèles améliorés et à jour pour assurer une communication efficace avec les clients d'ATR lors des visites sur site ou des réunions virtuelles

• Soutenir les Customer Support Directors dans la préparation des Senior management meetings

• Diriger des projets d'amélioration (exemples : définition d'un processus pour l'intégration des nouveaux arrivants dans l'équipe, optimisation de la création de compte client, etc.)

• Optimiser et maintenir les rapports internes de l'équipe, pour augmenter la connaissance des opérations clients au sein d'ATR

• Optimiser et maintenir le tableau de bord du département pour surveiller les principaux indicateurs de performance

• Préparer et organiser la résolution et la communication des sujets clients importants (ex : données techniques, mises à jour de configuration des avions, sujets de navigabilité)

• Améliorer / mettre en œuvre de nouveaux outils numériques et collaboratifs pour améliorer l'efficacité de l'équipe dans son activité quotidienne

PROFIL

Tâches et responsabilités:

Encadré(e) par votre tuteur, vous développerez vos compétences en travaillant sur les activités suivantes : 

• Elaborer des contenus alignés avec notre stratégie globale pour nos publications internes et externes 

• Assurer la gestion de nos canaux de communication interne et externe (intranet, site internet, réseaux sociaux) 

• Soutenir l’organisation d’événements internes et externes

• Préparer des briefs pour la création de support de communication (publicité, vidéo, etc) et créer sur des supports de communication (présentation, google site, etc)

• Collaborer avec toutes les parties prenantes internes et externes 

Compétences & Prérequis :

Vous allez intégrer une formation de niveau BAC +5 dans le domaine de la Communication pour un apprentissage d’une durée de 2 ou 3 ans. 

Vous avez les connaissances et compétences suivantes : 

• Appétence en rédaction et édition

• Attrait pour la gestion de projet et/ou organisation d'événements

• Une connaissance des réseaux sociaux LinkedIn et X

• Une connaisance des outils de la suite Google et de Wordpress

• Des bases en graphisme

Cet apprentissage consistera au développement de la marque Airbus Flight Academy, au déploiement stratégique et opérationnel de toutes les initiatives d'information et de promotion pour supporter le recrutement de nos écoles et nos objectifs de croissance.

Tâches et responsabilités:

Encadré par votre tuteur, vous développerez vos compétences en travaillant sur les activités suivantes :

● Exécuter la stratégie marketing et communication (B2C et B2B) pour booster la notoriété de la marque, supporter les objectifs recrutement et d’amélioration de l'expérience clients 

● Élaborer des stratégies de contenu multi-canaux (web, media sociaux, événements, etc.)

● Suivre, mesurer et évaluer leur efficacité des campagnes marketing (ROI) et partager les résultats avec les équipes internes transverses

● Interagir avec des candidats et prospects, gérer leurs requêtes

● Conduire et actualiser des études de marchés en coopération avec les équipes de connaissance et de prévision du marché

Compétences et Prérequis:

Vous allez intégrer une formation de niveau BAC+4/5 dans le domaine de la Communication, Marketing et/ou Création graphique appliquée pour un apprentissage d’une durée de 2 à 3 ans.

Vous avez les connaissances et compétences suivantes :

● Connaissance, ou spécialisation en marché aux consommateurs/particuliers (B2C), en marketing digital, gestion de marque, communications, publicités, médias sociaux, gestion de communautés et/ou marketing de recrutement

● Connaissance des médias de création et développement digitaux qui pourraient inclure l’optimisation SEO/SEM, Google adwords, Google analytics and Matomo, gestion de contenu (Drupal, Sharepoint, WordPress) et/ou de médias sociaux (Hootsuite, SocialPilot)

● Travail d’équipes, sens du client et une capacité à travailler sur plusieurs tâches en même temps

● Une expérience technique en édition de photo et vidéo (Adobe Creative Suite,…) et une passion ou connaissance de l’industrie aéronautique ou de la formation des pilotes seraient un plus.

Cet apprentissage consistera à bâtir un plan de communication visant à faire connaitre et comprendre l'ambition et les objectifs de la nouvelle équipe internationale Customer Care Centre (1500 personnes).

Cet apprentissage débutera en Septembre / Octobre 2024 pour une durée de 2 à 3 ans.

Ce poste nécessite une habilitation de sécurité ou nécessite d'être éligible à une habilitation par les autorités reconnues.

Tâches et responsabilités :

• Définition, en collaboration avec l'équipe de communication Airbus et les équipes Customer Care Centre, d'un plan de communication et marketing interne pour assurer que les missions, rôles et responsabilités soient bien connues et comprises par l'ensemble des équipes internes avec lesquelles nous collaborons.

You will be joining a team of 30 individuals within the "SBCB Operations and Business Efficiency - Airbus Customer Care Centre Operations" department, responsible for the smooth functioning of operational support for all aircraft in service.

This apprenticeship will involve building a communication plan aimed at raising awareness and understanding of the ambition and objectives of the new international Customer Care Centre team (1500 individuals)

This apprenticeship will start in September / October 2024 for a duration of 2 to 3 years.

Tasks and responsibilities:

You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities: 

• Definition, in collaboration with the Airbus communication team and Customer Care Centre teams, of an internal communication and marketing plan to ensure that missions, roles, and responsibilities are well-known and understood by all internal teams we collaborate with.

• Definition, in collaboration with the Airbus communication team, of an external communication and marketing strategy to ensure that the ambition is well-known and understood by all our clients (Airlines, Maintenance Centers) and partners (Engine Manufacturers).

• Participation in the construction of a set of communication tools (website, presentations, events, etc.).

Skills & Prerequisites:

You will integrate a BAC +5 level training program in General engineering or equivalent for an apprenticeship duration of 2, or 3 years.
