Technician in Media Salary: £11,517 per annum
18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year As our Technician in Media, you will Support student learning and provide a safe working environment for students, preparing equipment and materials for students within the practical workspace environment, and maintain stock and stores in an efficient manner. Responsibilities of our Technician in Media: Organisation of practical workspace areas to ensure effective utilisation of space and realistic work simulations and prepare materials for use by students including training aids and learning resources. Overall responsibility for Health and Safety in practical workspace areas and to ensure compliance. Ensure that practical learning environments, equipment, machines and plant comply with health and safety requirements, identifying necessary actions and reporting through line management Manage a rolling programme of learning space and equipment maintenance including repairs as required and for ensuring relevant checks are made on machine tools, equipment and materials in accordance with Health and Safety requirements (i.e. PAT testing, COSHH, etc) Contribute fully to the membership of course teams, attending staff meetings and liaising with staff on individual student’s progress and support needs. Assist in the maintenance of records of individual student progress where appropriate, including maintaining records of student attendance and initial assessment. Ensure that consumables, materials, preparation and stock control are available and prepared to the required level in practical learning environments. Follow group financial procedures in ordering consumables and other practical equipment for line manager authorisation and update practical learning environment inventories annually. Deliver taster sessions and attend open events as required. What we’re looking for in our Technician in Media: GCSE (A -C) or equivalent in Maths and English First aid qualification or willing to work towards Knowledge of Health and Safety policy/procedures Recent experience of subject specialism Able to work across the age and ability range in classroom, workshop and one to one situation. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our commercial team, working across Hull & East Yorkshire.

As an Account Manager your role will be to primarily grow and develop a territory with exciting potential, selling a range of creative marketing solutions from bespoke music, radio, and digital audio advertising campaigns to social media marketing campaigns.

You will embody Bauer Media’s values and drive Bauer’s company strategy and goals into the commercial business to a high standard within agreed parameters and desired timelines. Taking personal revenue responsibility for some existing accounts within your territory, whilst also hunting for new clients, to grow revenues across the specific postcodes, as well as the wider Bauer portfolio of radio brands, sponsorships, creative and digital products.
