About the Role
Base Location: Dublin, Belfast, Reading, Perth, Glasgow or Cardiff (this is a hybrid role and you must be able to attend one of these offices a couple of days a week)
Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 (GB / NI) or €56,500 - €84,700 (ROI) + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 18-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
Our Programmes Communication Lead will help support the delivery of the SSE Airtricity's exciting transformation programmes. In this role you will:
- design and embed internal communications plans, including long and short-term campaigns, working under and delivering against the wider communications strategy
- help identify communication needs and ensure that all communication is consistent with the programme's values, messaging, and identity
- craft over-arching narrative and identity for the programmes and convert into compelling and informative messages that convey complex ideas and technical information to various audiences, including employees, customers and sponsors
- establish two-way engagement channels and monitor and analyse stakeholder engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy and adjust as required
- promote and shape the programme's reputation, ensuring that all stakeholder engagement is clear, consistent, and aligned with the programme's goals and values with the wider SSE strategic ambitions
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- substantial experience working across most or all engagement / communication disciplines, on large scale transformational projects and programmes
- excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and articulate complex information
- a talent for identifying and addressing communication gaps, while ensuring that all messaging is cohesive and aligned with the programme's goals and values
- the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise competing demands
- knowledge of communication management techniques, models and theories, and experience of their practical application in business contexts, with ADKAR awareness / skills being advantageous
