My client has a position available for a Global Medical Publications and Communications (GMPC) Manager to join their team for an 8-month contract within their Oncology arena.

Your new role
As the Global Medical Publications and Communications Manager - Oncology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the publication strategy and plan for assigned oncology assets that could be across different phases of clinical development.
You will lead a cross-functional publication team and manage an external medical communication agency in the execution of the publication plan to ensure data is shared externally in a timely, ethical and compliant way to progress clinicalpractice for patients.You will also be responsible for developing the Scientific Communication Platforms for assigned assets, sending out publication alerts to keep the wider organisation updated on publications and contribute to the performance of the overall publication group.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for the Global Medical Publications and Communication Manager role, you must possess:
CMPP certified
A scientific degree, PhD preferred
Proven experience of scientific medical writing in a business environment
Proven experience in publication planning and project management, coordinating the production and delivery of multiple documents
Oncology therapy knowledge
Experience of working in a matrix team with strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences
Strategic acumen
The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external authors.
