Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a Mandarin speaking Warehouse Manager on behalf of our e-commerce and logistics client in Leicester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Daily management of the warehouse, workforce and oversight of all operations.
- Management of the warehouse system, ensuring all assets and equipment are maintained and functioning effectively.
- Work in partnership with the supply chain, procurement, sales, and logistics departments to ensure an efficient operation.
- Report performance to HQ on a regular basis.
- Oversee regular inventory counts, maintaining accurate data.
- Full oversight of security measures, ensuring robust protocols are in place.
- Continually review and update policies and procedures relating to H&S, HR, Security, Asset Management, Procurement, Compliance and Performance.
What we're looking for:
- Fluent in Mandarin.
- Experience as a Warehouse Manager in a large facility.
- Experience of managing department heads, ideally with large headcounts (i.e. above 100 employees)
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a relevant subject, with additional qualifications in H&S and/or related fields.
- Strong understanding of logistics management and warehouse management systems (i.e. WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving initiative, with good understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
- Strong financial management, budgeting and cost control understanding, from similar warehouse/logistics operations.
- Confident operator who is able to act professionally and efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Negotiable salary and package, depending on experience and qualifications.
