Weekdays: £12.45p/h, Weekends: £14.32p/h

• BACK SHIFT RATE: (2pm-10pm) from £14.32 to £20.55 per hour

Weekdays: £14.32 Weekends £16.19p/h

• NIGHT SHIFT: (10pm-6am) from £15.57 to £20.55 per hour

Weekdays: £15.57 Weekends £17.44p/h

Your role as a Warehouse Operative:

• Pick items using a voice activated pick system Operate LLOP (full training provided)
• Maintain and support wider team to ensure high standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety Achieve pick rate targets set for the team - 88%

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Challenge-trg Recruitment team as a Warehouse Operative for a major high street supermarket focused on homeware products in Leeds, LS25 6PT

Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:

• £11.95 per hour
• Night premium is paid from 10pm until 6am - £2.36 extra per hour.
• A good opportunity for overtime is available and is paid at time and a quarter.

Shifts:

This is a full-time role working:

• 4 on 4 off: 07:00 until 19:00 and 19:00 until 07:00

Or

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 15.30, 08:00 to 16.30 - 10.30 until 19:00

The Warehouse Operative role includes:

• Goods In/Unloading
• Putting items away
• Picking (either manual or via automated functions)
• Despatch/Loading items
• Returns

What do we expect from you as a Warehouse Operative:

• This role will involve lots of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.
• Applicants must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG.
• Our perfect worker will have accuracy whilst picking at speed and show good attention to detail.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.

Your pay rate as a Warehouse Picker is:

• Day Rate = £11.66p/h
• An additional £3.03 for the hours worked between 06:00 and 07:00
• An additional £1.65 for the hours worked between 16:00 and 18:00

• An additional £3.03 for the hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
• An additional £1.13 per hour for working in the freezer

What hours will you work as a Warehouse Picker?

You will be working 37.5hrs per week, on an 'any 5 from 7' pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 or 22:00 to 06:00 or 08:00 to 17:00.
You will be able to pick a shift and stay on that shift, depending on your availability.

Your role as a Warehouse Picker:

• Our Warehouse Pickers work in any area of our warehouse from ambient, to chilled, to frozen - this is a great way to learn all about our business and how we support the wider supply chain
• Pick goods using a voice system and load them onto pallets and cages using LLOP's
• Support in the loading and unloading of vehicles

As a Warehouse Picker you will also have access to:

• Regular temp to perm conversions after 12 weeks
• LLOP training and certification will be provided - no experience needed
• Subsidised Onsite canteen providing hot and cold food
• Guaranteed hours + overtime availability
