We are looking for a reliable and dedicated warehouse operative to join our clients warehouse team. You will undertake a wide range of warehouse and administration related tasks, so it is important you are well organised and able to multitask.

You will be working alongside the warehouse team. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment and familiarity with computers is essential. You will be overseeing all aspects of the warehouse including goods in and goods out.

Daily tasks will include:

• Picking and packing goods, including lifting
• Dispatching goods
• Bringing goods in
• Weekly Stock counts
• Putting goods away and organising them
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
• Serving customers at the trade counter when required
• Keeping warehouse supplies stocked

Required skills include:

• Strong written accuracy and numeracy
• Good team working skills
• Being especially organised and tidy
• Able to work on a variety of tasks in a structured, accurate and efficient manner
• Experience with MS Office
• Able to communicate confidently and professionally.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30

The tasks will involve work on the companies' computer system and communication with their sales team and trade suppliers. Working alongside the Senior Purchasing Executive, training on their specific Sage accounts system will be provided, but familiarity with MS Office and computers is essential.

Daily tasks will include:

* Procurement administration
* Preparation and sending of orders across to suppliers
* Liaising with our sales team
* Call handling
* Daily/weekly/monthly report running

For this role you will need to:

* Be able to multitask
* Be confident in your customer service abilities
* Be organised and have high levels of attention to detail
* Have solid Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Be able to communicate confidently and professionally
* Be able to work on a variety of tasks in a structured, thorough and efficient manner
* Be comfortable being in an environment where priorities can change quickly, you will need to adapt to support the needs of the business as necessary
* Be able to take responsibility for all tasks undertaken and see them through to completion
