Warehouse Assistant

Job Location: Near Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £11.53 - £13.33 per hour (£22,500 - £26,000 per annum) depending on level of experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am to 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 13.00pm

A specialist Engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Poole.

This is a brilliant role for an experienced Warehouse Assistant who can drive or has experience of driving an Aisle Master (Bendi) & a Reach forklift to help with all warehouse duties that include:

• Effective handling and movement of stock for customer orders.
• Supporting the Goods In department in receiving stock and allocating it correctly in the warehouse with knowledge of SAP
• Unloading / loading of goods with Aisle Master (Bendi)
• Dealing with couriers
• Packing of orders for shipping
• Checking orders are accurately picked before packing and dispatching
• Helping the team with stock replenishment
• Keeping the computer system updated of all stock movements in and out
• Driving forklifts

Skills / Experience for the Warehouse Assistant:

• Previous Logistics and Warehouse Experience
• Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems.
• Good working knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Recent license & driving of Aisle Master (Bendi Truck) and Reach Fork Lifts.

Experience and Qualifications  
You don’t need experience to join our Supermarket Team. You may already be in a Food Service role or a In-store Bakery Assistant but if not, that’s ok! We will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do.
