Strategic procurement across multiple categories and multiple programs
Management of existing preferred suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and driving added value for the organisation and its customers
Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify long term opportunities for improvement and savings
Ensuring best practice is always followed in relation to procurement activities, while achieving procurement outcomes
Managing multiple projects and deadlines within a challenging supplier market, while maintaining a customer focus and managing risk appropriately

Essential Criteria

Minimum 5 years' experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supply chain
You will be passionate about achieving procurement outcomes and eager to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve project deadlines

The Opportunity
Join a leading FMCG manufacturing company and local household brand. Based in Adelaide's north eastern suburbs, my client is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Manager to join their team on a permanent full time basis. You will be rewarded with an attractive salary and access to discounted products.
In this role, you will manage the warehouse logistics for all stock movement inwards and outwards on a daily basis. With a strong focus on continuous improvements, production levels, leading and managing a team and improving company performance.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee multiple warehouses and operations
Coordinate product distribution and receiving
Allocate resources for safe loading and unloading, adhering to health & safety rules
Manage end-to-end warehouse and production processes
Supervise warehouse staff and daily tasks
Evaluate and report warehouse productivity
Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
Verify accuracy of orders, bills, inventory, and deliveries
Ensure compliance with maintenance standards and safety regulations

Selection Criteria

Prior experience in warehouse management or operations management
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operation Management
Knowledge of WHS practices
Familiar with MRP systems
Be able to communicate and effectively and confidently lead in a team environment
Demonstrate resilience and enthusiastic to learn new skills in a supportive fast-paced environment
Prior experience in FMCG manufacturing is an advantage
