As a Warehouse Administrator, you’ll be a key member of the stock & systems team. You will be responsible for our stock control and warehouse management system, ensuring it is accurate and functioning at all times to contribute to the efficient running of the distribution centre.
We're looking for you to have a background in warehouse administration, with great understanding of inbound & outbound stock movement and the ability to communicate with customers and suppliers.
Warehouse Administrator Duties:
- Configuration and maintenance of Warehouse Management System ensuring stock, space and planning optimisation is accurate to achieve a high level of service
- To assist with the site co-ordination on communication processes relating to WMS system changes / enhancements when circulated by the central IT function
- To provide support and advice to operational users for WMS related queries and triage issues before logging defects with IT.
- Assist the site Operations Team with all elements of training for the WMS to new and existing employees, also providing ongoing refresher training.
- Plan and control the transfer of stock between all locations ensuring that the correct date rotations are met
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to deal with queries and deliveries discrepancies.
- Ensure the routines of layout maintenance, housekeeping processes and health checks are completed in line with the agreed schedules
- Coordinate cycle counting disciplines and producing analytical data from the results that identifies trends and recommends corrective action
- Monitor the capture and validate the accuracy of item data for use in the WMS and carry out corrective actions for capacity issues.
- Take ownership for adherence by self and other team members to company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality processes within the operation
You need:
- Experience of working within a stock and systems administrative role
- Have experience of stock control management gained in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience of administration and customer services.
- Have WMS knowledge with roll out/upgrade experience ideal.
