About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Birmingham Distribution Centre.

Working within a busy pharmaceutical warehouse environment you will be accurately assembling customer orders, efficiently picking customer orders for shipment and ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped on time. You will need to meet minimum productivity and quality standards and comply with policies and legal requirements in relation to the role.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.

You will also work on the roll-out and maintenance of a new Supplier Management Program covering all strategic and preferred suppliers, reviewing current processes and procedures and identifying areas for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2-4 years of procurement experience
• Facilities Management / experience working for the MOJ
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• A clear track record of stakeholder management
• A CIPS qualification or equivalent is desirable
