This is a vital role in preparing plastic trays for re-use in the distribution of food items to the supermarket. The role will involve loading and unloading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, which are then washed by an industrial washing machine. The trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers. Other tasks will involve the recycling of plastic and cardboard by unloading from cages into a baling machine. The work is physical so you must enjoy work of a physical nature.

Job Description
A key position within the factory responsible for the raw material planning, manufacturing operations and distribution of the finished product. As well as operating a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory, you will also be responsible for the daily planning of all raw material deliveries and the daily planning of the delivery fleet. Daily direct contact with our customer base, you will deliver a market leading service for both product delivery and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities
You will be trained to operate both a state-of-the-art sand drying system and a state-of-the-art mortar mixing plant, becoming a skilled plant operator and team leader. Mobile Warehouse Stock Operative - £25,043 - Sevenoaks

Own Car is Required

The position

• This full-time permanent position,you will be responsible for driving around the region based in and around Sevenoaks to complete audits on deliveries.
• Rate of pay: £25,043 per annum
• Weekly hours: 40 hours plus 30 min unpaid break (8.5 hours per day) concessions made to 6 hours per day based on stores visits +50 miles.
• Shift patterns Monday-Friday, within a window of 06:00-16:00
• Working Environment: Ambient
• Full Driving License and access to your own transport is essential.

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

• Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
• The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• You will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator.
• Full Driving License and access to your own transport
• All work may require prolonged periods of standing and all employees will be required to kneel, bend and squat in order to access and work with low and ground level stock.

This role will involve:

Picking and packing customer orders neatly and efficiently

Hours of work are 8:30-17:30 and pays £11.75ph

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives on a temporary basis to start asap up until early November.

We require Warehouse Operatives on the 2pm - 10pm shift, Monday to Friday. This role pays £13.50ph with half hour unpaid lunch.

You will be picking orders around the warehouse using a handheld scanner.

When picking and packing in the warehouse you will ensure that orders are handled correctly, assembled and dispatched in a timely fashion to meet customer requirements.
