- Make purchases for a wide variety of medical supplies, equipment, and other services supporting hospital operations through the use of simplified acquisition procedures.
- Coordinate with requesting customers to obtain information needed to support or complete purchase requests.
- Maintain required records, reports, correspondence, documents, etc. to support procurement actions.
- Research stock numbers, catalog numbers, part number, nomenclature, units of issues, special codes, manufacture codes, packaging and handling codes, open/closed records, partial shipments, etc.
- Prepare modifications to orders as needed.
- Review quotes for price reasonableness and determine if the requirements for competition have been meet.
