Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:

Day shift: £11.44p/h | Night shift: £13.00p/h

Typical hours as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• Day shift: 6AM-6PM
• Night Shift: 6PM-6AM
• Must be available to work weekends.

The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes:

• Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
• Unloading cages and trays from trailers, and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic is then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end
• You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.

• Timely and precise processing of purchase ledger invoices

What You'll Do:

• Manage Purchase Orders:
  Utilise the Xero system to process purchase orders with precision.
• Invoice Processing:
  Accurately enter purchase invoices into their accounting system using Sage AutoEntry.
• Financial Record Keeping:
  Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Month-End Procedures:
  Assist with closing procedures, including reconciling statements and outstanding purchase orders.
• Supplier Communication:
  Handle payment queries and invoice discrepancies with excellent phone etiquette.
• Administrative Support:
  Provide essential support to the finance team, including data entry and clerical duties.
• Software Utilisation:
  Efficiently manage financial data using Xero and other software tools.

What they're Looking For:

• Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Recent experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems or processes.
• Experience with Gmail, AutoEntry, and Job Logic software is a plus.
