• Executes demand planning for a complex portfolio of weapons systems and/or component piece parts.
• Supports the development and implementation of outcome-based demand support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability.

• Supports the weapon system manager in the development and documentation of demand forecasts to support the weapon system sustainment strategy in accordance with policy and regulatory guidance.

• Serves as an Inventory Management Specialist with the responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, managing, and reviewing actions concerned with life-cycle property and supply requirements, operations, and systems essential to the mission of multiple activities at the C5ISR Center.
• Oversees Supply Management Programs and Operations to include the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and the Center's Property Book. Responsible for Equipment management and oversight; All Center inventories; Property book adjustments and disposition activities; Property training; and Center guidance, policy, and procedures.
• Manages, maintains, and trains others in applicable databases such as Global Combat Supply System-Army (GCSS-Army), the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) Hub, the Army VANTAGE Data Analytics Platform, Information Systems Security Program-Army (ISSPA), and Decision Support Tool (DST).
• Identifies and establishes property and equipment management actions and comprehensive plans to ensure objectives and procedures are in place to support mission acquisition and life cycle sustainment goals. Monitors progress toward meeting the logistics plan and identifies any cause, impact, and solution to delays or other problems.
• Ensures DEVCOM C5ISR Center's ability to manage and control material and supplies required to support the operations, projects, and programs of the Center. Coordinates requirements with users, assists all Property Teams, Equipment Coordinators, and Hand Receipt Holders in all aspects of supply operations and the execution of inventories.

You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist and be responsible for performing inventory management work requiring application of system-wide knowledge of supply programs and operations.

Position Summary:

KBR seeks a Summer 2024 Intern looking to gain practical experience in Supply Chain Management.  In this internship, you will assist the Procurement Department in various procurement activities and support supplies and services for government and commercial customers at the best value necessary to meet the required price, quality, quantity, and delivery schedules. You will assist in defining business solutions that enable KBR to execute its contractual commitments while forging impactful relationships with internal stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

In this internship, you will:

• Work with different types of contract vehicles
• Gain exposure to KBR’s system applications.
• Support supplier source selection, subcontract/purchase order placement,

           cost/price analysis, record keeping, negotiations, documentation

           preparation, subcontract/purchase order maintenance, and supplier

           management.

• Assist in preparing Requests for Proposal/Quotes, analysis and evaluation of proposals, negotiation of subcontract provisions, and ‘cradle to grave’ subcontract/purchase order administration.
• Gain an understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Contractor Procurement System Review (CPSR), ISO-9001: 2008, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
