Position Overview
Autodesk's Fusion Manage team is looking for an Automation Software QA Tester with experience developing automated test frameworks. As a QA Engineer, you will report to the Software Development Manager. You will work with scrum teams and other stakeholders to validate complex functionality, ensure automated test coverage meets expectations, improve processing to enable improving our testing capabilities, and deliver high-quality software to our customers.
Responsibilities
You will work collaboratively on an Agile scrum team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies
You will estimate, plan, schedule software testing tasks for yourself and others
You will own some of the automated tests (performance, release smoke), work with other stakeholders to improve the coverage and address issues
Perform hands-on testing to assist product releases and automation requirements
Triage and troubleshoot automation issues
Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to your team
Assist developers when needed to identify automated tests to be added
Reproduce and investigate customer issues
Communicate status of the work in progress, escalate critical issues
Collaborate with Quality Champion, build dashboards, and define and track quality related metrics
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
2 years experience with testing cloud software solutions, including experience working with and validating RESTful interfaces
Experience writing automated tests
Working knowledge of Java, Python, Jenkins, BlazeMeter/JMeter, Postman
Experience designing tests, defining test scope and identifying functional and non-functional testing (e.g. performance, availability, stability, security, and environment)
2 years experience with testing tools and testing process in product release cycles
2 years experience with CAD, PDM, and PLM applications is a plus
