Applications are invited for an Administrative Officer (Equality) (1.0 FTE) to join the Glasgow School of Art within the Mackintosh School of Architecture.
As Administrative Officer, you will join a busy team within a teaching department which delivers courses at Degree, Diploma and Postgraduate level.
The post holder will work as part of a small team, providing administrative support for all aspects of academic quality assurance and compliance by: ensuring MSA aligns with academic standards and quality assurance processes at GSA; overseeing PSRB compliance; overseeing administrative aspects of student misconduct cases; Board of Studies committee management; overseeing processing of and providing advice/guidance in respect of GDPR/Data Protection compliance.
The role will provide administrative support for recruitment and admissions, course delivery, assessments, student feedback, visiting lecturers/critics, study trips as well as committee servicing for programme/School committees. Educated to Higher Grade level (or equivalent) and/or have relevant experience in an administrative position, preferably within an HE/FE environment, you will have knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office applications.
