The successful candidate will have a strong background in social housing and a thorough understanding of Building Safety Compliance, including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Management:
  Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems within our housing stock comply with current regulations and legislative requirements.
• Surveying and Inspections:
  Conduct regular inspections and surveys to identify any compliance issues or potential risks, particularly focusing on HHSRS.
• Reporting:
  Prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for remedial actions.
• Data Management:
  Utilise strong Excel skills to manage and analyse compliance data, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Contractor Coordination:
  Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of compliance-related works.
• Health and Safety:
  Ensure all health and safety requirements are met in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Customer Focus:
  Improve tenant experience by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any service failures promptly.

Key Experience and Skills

• Social Housing Background:
  Proven experience in a similar role within the social housing sector.
• Building Safety Compliance:
  In-depth knowledge of building safety compliance, particularly HHSRS.
• Technical Skills:
  Strong proficiency in Excel for data management and analysis.
• Communication:
  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and colleagues.
• Problem-Solving:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Your new role Working as part of a financial operations team, you will take responsibility for tax and VAT activities. You will provide strategic, expert and customer valued financial and taxation information and advice to both internal and external customers. Your new role

This role has dual focus; incorporating technical project delivery and business development. You will also be required to promote the client\'s air quality team in the marketplace, drive further growth and play a direct role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects.

You will join an exciting and dynamic team, and become involved in all aspects of project delivery from client liaison and task / project management, to report production and business development. This will include detailed dispersion modelling and assessment of transport and industrial air quality, odour assessments, input into EIAs and Environmental Permit applications and ambient air quality and odour monitoring for projects in the UK and abroad.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Experienced Air Quality consultant with a strong business development track record.
• Proven work winning capability with excellent knowledge of market places and key clients.
• Technical experience to include dispersion modelling (e.g. Aermod/ADMS/ADMS Roads/DMRB), industrial air pollution, power generation, traffic emissions, dust and odour assessments
