Administrator for our Higher Education English Language Assessments Team
QA Higher Education, London based, Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm
Hybrid working, Fulltime Maternity Contract (12 months)
Are you a recent graduate or an administrator looking for a new challenge in a rewarding higher education business. Ideally you will have administration experience within the education sector (preferred) or within a busy back-office function where organisation, attention to detail and communication are key.
About our role: As Assessments Administrator you will be providing support with all the required student pre-enrolment assessments, all relevant admin work, ensuring excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Good IT, Word and Excel skills a MUST and occasional Saturdays may be required also

To deliver day to day responsibilities within the admin team, e.g., preparing app packs, results communications, communicating with applicants, checking applicants' documents and details on the CRM system, and other relevant tasks.
Test set up, invigilation, archiving, completing spreadsheets, forms, and all relevant admin work to the department
Work closely with the assessment team, relevant teams and departments within the company to deliver the given tasks and responsibilities to the department,
Provide support to other teams and departments within QAHE, when required
Travel to other centres to assist with test administrations and relevant admin work, if required,
Ensure full compliance with all internal and external protocols
Ensure full auditable records of all assessments' activities are maintained

Mental Health Practitioner to Students within Higher Education

About our role: As Mental Health Practitioner (and in collaboration the welfare team, disability teams and student relations team), you will have the experience and knowledge to contribute to the delivery and development of a range of services including individual, managing a caseload, and sometimes group work, to provide a professional advisory service for staff and students, internal or external referral, and curation of psycho-educational or self-help resources.
As Mental Health Practitioner you will assist and support the Clinical Lead in promoting, developing, and maintaining a safe and ethical wellbeing service within QA Higher Education.
This will include looking at key times throughout the academic year and proactively planning and organising events and interventions to promote wellbeing activities.
Our role is Monday to Friday business hours with very occasional evening work (6pm finish).

Manage a caseload of undergraduate and postgraduate students with mental
health difficulties and/or disabilities, delivering focused therapeutic interventions both in person and remotely, and co-ordinating support across a range of services to optimise their student experience. Provide targeted support where appropriate at periods of transition e.g. pre-entry, suspense and placements.
Establish effective working relationships with external service providers, (GPs, specialist mental health services, social care), to facilitate students' access appropriate medical support. Promote timely, effective information sharing and collaborative working.
Support in the delivery of all welfare services, this can be on campus, via the phone or email.
Provide urgent triage, assessment and robust, collaborative risk management interventions to students experiencing a mental health crisis, referring to and liaising with internal and external service providers as appropriate.
Provide comprehensive mental health assessments to students presenting with significant mental health needs and provide appropriate advice, signposting and referral on to additional services.

Job purpose:
You will join QA as Assessment Specialist working within our Content team. Reporting to our Senior Assessments Manager, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring our assessments remain the top in the industry.

You might be experienced in running your own blog in relation to one of or all of the CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES we mention?

You will have a strong technical expertise in the CLOUD Technologies of Azure, AWS and GCP.

• Experience of Containerisation, Kubernetes, GEN AI, Zero Day Threats, Test Lab design.

The role and what you will be doing:

• You will be ideally well versed in CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES including Azure, AWS, GCP etc and have an enthusiasm for commenting on or developing insights into new technical advancements and changes.
• Write clear, accurate, and relevant assessments for QA enterprise training, including but not limited to: certification preparation exams across multiple cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
• Write/create role-based skill assessments for a wide variety of current IT roles including Solution Architect, Software Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
• Create both pre and post assessments which are formative and summative exams to assess learner progress through a sequence of modular training resources.
• Coordinate with Content team members to outline quiz development priorities on a set schedule and adapt to evolving priorities based on changing IT market trends, cloud and software technology and/or enterprise training priorities.

Job purpose:
You will join QA as Assessment Specialist working within our Content team. Reporting to our Senior Assessments Manager, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring our assessments remain the top in the industry.

You might be experienced in running your own blog in relation to one of or all of the CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES we mention?

The role and what you will be doing:

• You will be ideally well versed in CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES including Azure, AWS, GCP etc and have an enthusiasm for commenting on or developing insights into new technical advancements and changes.
• Write clear, accurate, and relevant assessments for QA enterprise training, including but not limited to: certification preparation exams across multiple cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
• Write/create role-based skill assessments for a wide variety of current IT roles including Solution Architect, Software Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
• Create both pre and post assessments which are formative and summative exams to assess learner progress through a sequence of modular training resources.
• Coordinate with Content team members to outline quiz development priorities on a set schedule and adapt to evolving priorities based on changing IT market trends, cloud and software technology and/or enterprise training priorities.
• Collaborate with the content team and engineering team members to design new assessment types.

Content Management:
Review and update existing quiz library to maintain currency with cloud platforms and QA courses
Integrate content management tasks, such as reviews and updates, into work schedule while continuing development of new content

Carrying out audit checks on Solent pages to ensure that Solent Registry Team have created the module pages for- the upcoming new semester, ensuring they have the correct start and end dates.
Sending comms to Solent Registry Team to ask them to create the submission links for modules and ensuring that these have been created including (first sit and resits) and that they have the correct submission deadlines.
Ensuring that the submission links are opened and made visible 2 weeks before the submission deadline.
Carrying out audit checks to ensure module leaders have made the resit assessment briefs available on their respective module pages by week 12.
Setting Up Groups on Schedular and the Submission Links for Modules that have Group Assessments
Carrying out audit checks to ensure that module leaders conducted Standardisation with their respective Teaching Teams before marking commences and reported Suspected cases of Academic Misconduct and reverting the outcome of the audit to the Heads of Year
Collating expense claim for sessional lecturers re: Standardisation, Marking & Moderation
Collating the Moderation forms from Solent and saving them on a folder
Collating the Summary of Adjustments from the Welfare Team and saving them on a folder
Update the BSc Course page with materials.

About the role:


We are looking for an experienced Product Communication Manager who will develop an internal product communication strategy and create technical communication materials to maximize product understanding and usage. Working closely with the Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, they will ensure that product updates, features, and launches are communicated effectively and efficiently, both internally and externally.


A 'day in the life' of a Product Communications Manager:
Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical bulletins, release notes, FAQs, and in-app guides.

Create and manage product demos and webinars for internal education on product features and updates

Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand product updates, features, and launches.
Provide necessary product information and materials to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams.

Your experience:

You'll design and develop interactive blended learning products for QAHE programmes. This will include the design, scripting and storyboarding of the digital learning components as well as production of the content in specialist software.
You'll need to build strong collaborative relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), members of the Learning & Teaching Team and other academic stakeholders to develop understanding of the requirements of the course content, its learning objectives, and the learners' skills requirements.
Collaborate with these key stakeholders to design high quality, engaging and innovative blended learning programmes for QAHE's core products.
Contribute to the design which integrate seamlessly with the live event and asynchronous stages of delivery.
Storyboard and script digital learning content and assets by applying learning design and pedagogical principles to effectively develop learners' skills and knowledge.
Update and maintain course and content documentation, ensuring that it is accurate, version controlled, and quality assured.

Bring your experience:
Strong knowledge of educational theory and instructional/learning design principles.
Understanding of different e-learning development techniques and methodologies - formal and informal
Extensive experience of developing blended learning and e-learning learning solutions
Experience working in a materials development environment, preferably related to online and blended learning
