We currently have a fantastic opportunity for one candidate to join the college in the role of a Degree Compliance Officer.
The post holder will assist in the delivery and development of administration duties within the Learner Support Services. Ensuring excellence in service standards, quality information and a strong customer focus is maintained at all times.
The post holder will be a member of the Registry administration team, responsible for key areas of degree administration aimed at providing high quality and
comprehensive administrative support to staff and to students on Hull College programmes.
Hull College provides high-quality education & training for school leavers & adults, offering a wide range of vocational study programmes, Apprenticeships & degrees, and in October 2023 were awarded a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted. The role involves relevant elements of organisation and management of administrative processes relating to the student experience, providing support to students and staff and working closely with other members of the Registry team. The post holder will be expected to provide accurate advice to staff and students and will require the development of a good working knowledge of Hull College regulations and procedures to fulfil the duties of the role.

Responsibilities of our Degree Compliance Officer:
Support the work of the Senior Registry Officer as directed
Organise meetings, prepare agendas and papers and take minutes for committees or panels as required
To maintain accurate financial records and support the administration of Hardship applications and Bursary payments. To provide administration of all Access and Participation Plan documentation including applications, approval meetings and collation of all evaluations. To accurately maintain budget folders as required and document all necessary evidence.
To support the Student Success Coach with student engagement activities
To maintain accurate CMA and UCAS documentation and records ensuring UCAS is accurate and up to date.
Website updates
Proofreading and checking prospectus / published information
Performs data tasks upon request
Ensure Person specifications and interview questions are stored accurately and are upto for all programmes
Support the graduation event planning and delivery.
Provide support for validations and programme management activity, tracking applications and ensuring deadlines are met.
To provide any additional support as requested by Head of HE Development and Registry.
What we’re looking for in our Degree Compliance Officer:
GCSE English & Maths Grade C or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant desktop software, including spreadsheet, email/calendar management and word processing packages
Experience in administration preferably in a higher education setting
Strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with a wide range of individuals
Knowledge of current legislation concerning data protection
