Job Title: Quality Manger – Scott Pallets

Your role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Scott Pallets.
As an experienced Quality Manager, the key objectives for this role will be to ensure compliant products are being manufactured to
the required customer standards, and to effectively manage the quality system in line with Group policies and the accredited
standards. The role will also involve the management and maintenance of appropriate industry certification and accreditation
requirements.
In this role, you will lead the continual development of the Quality culture across the business, to achieve customer satisfaction
and minimize business disruption. This will involve leading a continuous improvement culture targeting the identification,
implementation and rectification of all correct preventative actions across the business.
The suitable candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading and championing Quality practices and
procedures within a multi-site manufacturing operation. Ideally, you will either be working towards becoming a qualified
membership or already be a member of a recognised Quality professional body. Due to the nature of this role, travel across the UK
will be required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a practical person who is willing to be hands on to help promote and lead
change within the company. As an individual, you will be an excellent communicator who will be able to liaise with customers and
staff across the business.
Key Role Objectives:
Quality Leadership
* Ensuring that an effective Quality Management System is established, implemented and maintained at all levels.
* Co-ordinate all processes to conform to the company’s Quality System
* Site champion to ensure product Quality conforms to the Customer Requirements
* Monitor all internal non-conformances and drive through route cause analysis and install the appropriate control plans to
prevent re-occurrence
* Providing an independent channel of communication on quality matters, initiating necessary action to resolve deficiencies and
ensuring satisfactory solutions have been achieved.
* Ensuring Audits are undertaken in accordance with the Audit Schedule and that any adverse findings, including those raised by
others, are closed out in a timely manner.
* Reviewing Non-conformance reports to identify any apparent trends and providing timely reports on NCR status and trends to the
Project Manager and the company Quality Manager
* Ensure a structured problem-solving approach is applied to countermeasure activities and prevent re-occurrence.
General
* Drive a performance culture, through the entire site to achieve all associated KPI’s, development of corrective actions and
training programmes
* Drive a “can do” attitude through problem resolution
* Collate and analyses performance metrics, submit plant and Group reports
* Undertake any reasonable management requests
