You will be maintaining high quality in all areas of practice including effective team working; using a range of different approaches including, evidence-based practice, guidelines, legislation, protocols, procedures, policies, standards and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Improving services in the interests of the service users, carers and the organisation informed by current best practice guidance.
• Contributing to the development of others during ongoing work activities using through structured approaches (e.g. training and support for agencies) and/or informal and ad hoc methods (such as enabling people to solve arising problems and appropriate guidance).
• Understanding and executing external audit functions, assessing risks and compliance needs related to temporary workforce supply
• Conducting audits of operational processes, ensuring alignment with policies, frameworks and regulations specific to the role and industry
• Documenting findings, communicate results, complete audit reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvements
• Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies across the organisation.
• Reviewing concerns, suspicious activity Reports, and support suppliers with general compliance queries
• Collaborating in policy development and ensure documentation is up to date
• Conducting risk assessments and perform control testing to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Investigate compliance breaches, identify root causes, and track the resolution of issues

To be successful as a Compliance Officer, you'll need:

• Relevant experience of working in a similar high-compliance environment.
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory body requirements (e.g. CQC, HIW, CIW and Ofsted)
• Understanding of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies
• Knowledge and understanding of risk management strategies
• Experience in undertaking external audits
• Demonstrate communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills
• Experience in analysing clinical information and creating reports for internal/external stakeholders
• Basic understating of IR35 Rules
• Experience of working with stakeholders and demonstrated ability to effectively deliver key messages to these stakeholders and appropriately influence

You will work along side Hospital Directors, Senior Management Teams, Ward Managers and Clinical Teams within the CAMHS GAU & Eating Disorder Services to implement quality improvements within clinical and operational processes that lead to overall increases in the delivery of quality services.

You will be responsible for supporting the overall quality assurance agenda across a group of Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services, reporting to the Regional Service Director.

This position is a 12-month FTC (maternity cover).

As a Regional CAMHS Quality Manager, you will be:

• Responsible for supporting the overall quality assurance agenda across a group of Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services, reporting to the Regional Service Director.
• Monitoring of quality and assurance within Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services in line with CQC, NHS England, NHS Wales, CCG’s and Elysium polices and values.
• Working with the site Quality Assurance Leads to ensure robust quality assurance structures, systems and processes are in place and effective within the Elysium CAMHS & Specialist Services.
• Working together with stakeholders to discuss solutions to quality issues and to satisfy customer expectations about Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services.
• Promoting a culture of quality within the Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services.
• Taking on the role of QI lead for a group of CAMHS Services, providing advice and support and sharing safeguarding reports via the Elysium governance structures.
• Supporting implementation the CAMHS CQUINs programme within Elysium CAMHS & Eating Disorder Services.
• Undertaking incident and complaint investigations as required by the Regional Service Director.
• Promoting the engagement of young people and their carers and a culture of co-production and involvement.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 5 years senior professional leadership or Nurse Management experience.
• Be able to demonstrate relevant nursing practice with current NMC registration.
• Must be capable of providing direct clinical support when required through current nurse registration and continuing professional nurse practice and development.
• Educated to Masters degree-level and/or evidence of relevant post qualification study and research experience, and continuing professional and personal development.
• You will be able to travel to Elysium sites as required, the requirement of 4-5 days per week

• Reviewing contractual requirements and where necessary populate information required for KPI and CQUIN reporting utilising the Contracts Team to fully achieve the contractual requirements.

Gardens Neurological Centre and Jacobs Neurological Centre have a combined total of 132 beds on the same site in Sawbridgeworth (CM21 0HH), which is on the Hertfordshire and Essex border within easy travelling distance of London and Cambridge.

This is not an audit role where there are clear right and wrong answers this is about reviewing care records, spotting a potential issue and following up by utilising other information sources to see if the issue is real.

You will be working in our Provider Compliance Assessment Team, reporting to Director of Policy and Regulation, Regional Directors and Registered Manager findings from reviews and visits, continually monitoring and feeding back findings both from documentation reviews and site visits.

Working 37.5 hours a week you will be participating in PCA reviews, monitoring and reviewing audit results, service reports and action plans and continually reviewing the company’s statutory and legal requirements in relation to operational compliance.

There will be requirement to travel throughout the country sometimes staying away from home up to 3 nights.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience in a similar post or Registered Manager or senior hospital/care home clinician
• The ability to drill down into detail and triangulate with other information to form a view on whether the service is compliant with expectations, being able to articulate why and how that view was formed.
