This care home is situated in Alvaston and is home for up to 40 residents, some of which suffer from dementia. The care home is very accommodating and gives off a homely feel making the resident settle in well.
Duties include:
- Following personal care plans
- Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
- General housekeeping and domestic duties
- Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes
- Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
- Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines
- Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs
- Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A minimum of 3 months paid UK experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a Enhanced DBS or training we are able to assist you will get these at a subsidised cost and certificates are your to keep.

You will be working on various days from Monday to Sunday with the typical hours being:
20:00 to 08:00
You will be paid £12.00 per hour
