A leading specialist equipment manufacturer require an experienced Stock Controller/Stores Person for their production facility. The primary focus for the role is to ensure a high level of inventory control both internally and throughout the company supply chain, to provide constant flow of components to manufacturing and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Entering details of all goods received onto the ERP system ensuring the items received match the purchase order, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Control of all stock parts from time of receipt through to distribution to stock, kits and works orders.
• Ensuring that all parts are adequately labelled, located, part numbered and logged.
• Picking kits of parts for manufacturing technicians
• Issue stock using ERP software.
• Perform stock checks as necessary to ensure stock counts match the ERP system.
• Packing parcels for despatch and ensuring shipping documentation is raised.
• Manual and mechanical handling of goods.
• General stores housekeeping and ensure the stores area is clean & tidy.
• Manual and mechanical handling of goods including forklift work as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous Stock Control and Stores/Warehouse experience
• MS office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience of ERP systems would be an advantage.
• High level of accuracy.
• Able to communicate and liaise effectively with people of all levels.
• Good English Language and Maths skills.
• A current counterbalance forklift truck licence would be an advantage but not essential

Food QC Assistant - Nights

Job description

A rapidly expanding, prestige food provider, offering pre prepared, fine dining experiences to a broad range of commercial and private customers, requires an additional Night Shift, Quality Control Assistant to join a busy QC team.

Based at a state-of-the-art facility in Bicester, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring that food meets the highest standards, before it reaches the companies elite customers.

The Role:

As the Night Quality Control Lead, you will:

• Conduct final checks on all food items, ensuring correct packaging per job sheets.
• Plate and prepare food items as needed.
• Oversee the safe packaging of food for transit to airports.
• Analyse food quality and feedback, and develop action plans with the Head Chef.
• Support inflight deliveries to airports during quieter periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: Ensure all food meets the highest standards, is plated in the correct packaging, and presented per specifications, with special attention to allergens and dietary restrictions.
• Restocking: Ensure kitchen and QC packaging areas are fully stocked for the next day's operations.
• Preparation: Prepare fresh juices and smoothies according to specific order requirements.
• Stock Management: Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team regarding daily used items like milk, bread, and fruit.
• Time Management: Ensure all food is packed on time for the driver to meet delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of food and allergens, ideally at a Sous Chef level.
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of quality control processes.
• Valid UK Driving License.
• Flexibility and reliability are essential.
