Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of products? Are you constantly seeking ways to improve processes and drive continuous improvement? We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team in Weymouth and work primarily with our manufacturing department. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our products and driving the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and work together to enhance product performance
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements
- Identify and address any quality issues that may arise during the manufacturing process
- Provide technical support to production teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
- Develop and implement quality control measures to continuously improve product quality
- Review and analyse quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Document and maintain accurate records of quality inspections and findings
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and techniques
- Experience with measurement tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with quality control software preferred
- Knowledge of risk assessment and quality management systems
