Our IT Risk and Compliance team are overseeing the management of technology risk and compliance against regulatory requirements, like SOX and payment industry scheme submissions. Managing and developing our technology risk and compliance capabilities

Understanding, reporting and management of the control suite that underpins the IT Risk framework

Contributing into the management and execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment process across CIO

Designing and validation of IT controls that support the management of technology within Santander UK risk appetite
-
Contributing to a range of regulatory, industry and company compliance requirements including payment industry scheme submissions

Leading analysis of technology risks and control requirements working with a variety of teams and partners across the bank
What you'll bring.

Positive engagement with wide range of technical specialists to deliver continual improvements to control framework

Working knowledge of risk assessment and acceptance processes

Proven track record as a risk / control officer

The attitude to create positive environment, bringing ideas, and ensuring personal performance targets and development plans are in place

Knowledge of functional and technical matters with other teams' members
It would also be nice for you to have.

Experience in SOX testing campaigns from a governance aspect

Knowledge of payment industry scheme submissions

Understanding of 3rd Party Risk

Financial services experience

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

If both sides agree we will send your CV to the hiring manager to review. For this position, the interview process will be :-
1st Stage - Technical Interview - this will a 30min technical interview with one of the team
2nd Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus

We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don't contribute yourself. We'll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
