This position will support the compliance function and state filings. This opportunity is a hybrid schedule; working 2-3 days in our office and the other days remote.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation and submission of rate, rule, and form filings countrywide

• Review and analyse state statutes, regulations, and rating bureau bulletins to determine impact and ensure adherence to filing and regulatory requirement.

• Responsible for the preparation of responses to DOI interrogatories

• Develop and maintain state approval charts, forms list, policy forms and rates.

• Work with other business units to write business rules in support of implementing new product and systemic updates related to forms, rates, and rules.

• Maintain manuals and documentation.

In addition to the above key responsibilities, may be required to undertake other compliance related duties from time to time as the Company may require.

Experience:

• At least two years of experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) Commercial lines regulatory and state filings.

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, risk management, or related field (an equivalent combination of education and prior work experience may be substituted at management’s discretion).

• Rate, rule and form filing experience. WC Compliance subject matter expert preferred but not required.

• Knowledge and experience with SERFF.

• Relevant knowledge of regulatory or procedural compliance issues, with ability to apply to operations.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to learn proprietary systems.

• Strong communications, analytical, organizational, project management and planning and problem skills.

• Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.

• Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines.

• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

• Must be detailed oriented.

• Compliance or insurance-related certifications (in progress or held) are preferable but not required.

THE JOB

Responsible for monitoring/maintaining the safety and security of the venue. This includes guest searches, crowd control, conflict resolution, and customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety and order and to protect the venue's property.

* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons.

* Guard against theft and maintain the safety and security of the premises.

* Located throughout the venue to ensure guests are conducting themselves safely and not disrupting the event.

* Monitor the crowd for behavior that needs to be addressed by venue management or law enforcement personnel.

* Participate in the post-show cleaning of the venue.

* Provide great customer service to all our guests to ensure a memorable experience.

The Analyst - Global Financial Controls will support Northern Trust's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.Perform reviews of various departments by understanding the key risks and controls within the function being reviewed. Develops and executes test steps, documents results clearly and evaluates results to assess the quality of the control and/or control environment.Think critically and take independent initiative to research inherent risks, emerging guidance, and issues relevant to processes and controls, and propose solutions or enhancements as appropriate.Identify and evaluate risk and likely sources of potential error for significant processes.Design and administer trainings to stakeholders.Demonstrate professional skepticism and comfort with questioning how certain processes are being performed in order to facilitate making improvements.Operate independently; has in-depth knowledge of the function.As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management.Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas.Utilizes understanding of various corporate units to ensure operations, services and systems have proper controls in place.Applies analytical skills to review information and determine potential control weaknesses.Develops a thorough understanding of the Northern Trust Methodology and adheres to all applicable Department Standards.Responsible for staying current on SOX/SOC/CCAR regulation and changes in the industry.Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple projects and to work under pressure during peak periods. Knowledge: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.Ability to work in a fast paced and a dynamic work environment as part of a Global Financial Control team working across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.Highly flexible and adaptable to change.Experience: Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred.Experience in financial services preferred.Master’s degree in accounting or finance a plus.Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor a plus.
