Monday – Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm
Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Description:
- Develop and enforce quality control plans (QCPs) specific to projects, outlining inspection points, testing requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor the implementation of quality control measures at various stages of the piping project, from material selection to installation.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping components to verify conformity with design specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) processes, including radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant testing, and magnetic particle testing.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on piping systems to ensure their structural integrity and leak-tightness.
- Verify the suitability and quality of materials by conducting material receiving inspections and reviewing material certificates.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or contamination.
- Monitor and evaluate welding procedures, qualifications, and welder performance to ensure high-quality welds in piping systems.
- Conduct visual inspections and coordinate radiographic examinations of welded joints to identify defects and deviations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all inspection and testing activities, including test results, inspection reports, and relevant documentation.
- Generate detailed quality reports outlining findings, discrepancies, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to address quality-related concerns and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding quality control matters.
- Identify non-conformities, deviations, and quality issues, and lead investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track the resolution of non-conformities and ensure that corrective actions are effective.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations governing piping systems, such as ASME B31.3, API 570, and others.
Requirement:
- Poly or higher in Mechanical Engineering relevant certificate
- Strong in documentation
- Knowledge of Welding Inspection (AWS or CSWIP).
- Knowledge of Auditor certification - Experience with Base build piping fabrication or - - - Hook-up module fabrication, welding inspections of structural and piping welding jobs including Non-Destructive testing.
- Experience in piping line walk, and reinstatement inspections by clear understanding of Isometric drawings.
