The role of Quality Assurance Manager - FRA Audits will include:

• Quality verifying high risk FRAs from a desktop point of view
• Giving feedback to assessors and their line management on the FRA findings
• Plan, manage and implement audit review programmes, to assess Compliance performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements
• Ensure managers and staff are provided with clear and accurate assessments of their compliance status and actions required
• Lead on the Quality Assurance issue investigations in relation to Fire Risk Assessments to assess Compliance impact, root cause and resolution

Key Knowledge:

• Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
• Fire Risk Assessment Qualification Level 4
• Experience of auditing would be advantageous
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of current FRA regulation and good practice principles
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• • Deputise for the Network Team Leader to ensure service continuity.
  • Lead and provide expert guidance on the New Roads and Street Works Act, Highways Act, and maintenance.
  • Oversee daily inspections and enforcement for street works and highway safety.
  • Ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and associated codes, including the London Permit Scheme.
  • Enforce the Highways Act 1980 using various legal documents and notices.
  • Represent the Client at public inquiries, meetings, and provide technical reports.
  • Prepare legal reports and evidence, and assist lawyers in legal proceedings.
  • Issue notices regarding highway activities.
  • Conduct inspections of statutory undertakers’ and highway authority’s works for compliance with safety codes.

Quality Administrator
Circa. £24,000, Boroughbridge, office based, flexible hours, on site parking, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, training, development & progression, early finish on Fridays.

Due to continued business growth we are looking to recruit a Quality Administrator, and this could be in either sense of the term! If you have previously worked in a quality department or environment and have experience dealing with quality processes and procedures, or you are just a top notch all round administrator with advanced excel and data analysis skills then we want you!
As Quality Administrator you will report to the Quality Systems Manager and work in a small yet integral team of 3. This is a busy and fast paced role, you will be responsible for supporting the quality department in all documentation and analysis. Here is a short list of just some of the responsibilities you will have.

As Quality Administrator you will:

• Write control plans and SMEAs (Success Modes and Affects Analysis)
• Assist in updating and maintaining ISO procedures within the workplace
• Amend operational and procedural documentation
• Create and manage KPIs and report on these
• Complete all manufacturing and quality manuals and technical documentation
• Assist with Audits
• Analyse data and produce reports
• Take minutes of meetings
• Scan documents as required

Requirements:

• You will have strong administration skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ideally be an advanced user of excel, including formula, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• A keen eye for detail and ability to analyse data
• Qualified or experienced in ISO auditing
• Have the ability to prioritise your workload
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics industry would be a bonus
• A team player, happy to provide support where needed
• You will ideally need your own transport due to location

This Quality Administrator role would suit someone who has worked as a quality systems administrator, internal auditor, systems officer, or has worked with processing lots of data and has dealt with audits and working towards and maintaining ISOs within the workplace.

Job purpose:

As a key part of the team, you will be involved in mentoring and developing other members of the team and sharing knowledge and experience between team members. You will be key to driving and sustaining business improvements as well as ensuring that the products manufactured meet the high-quality standard that we have set ourselves; in order to maintain our AS9100 and NADCAP certifications.

KEY TASKS

Main duties will include

• Supporting QC related meetings and completion of associated actions.
• Leading the Local Quality SQDCP daily meetings; to target and track activities.
• Ensure compliance of product, paperwork, and processes.
• Inspection of products to specifications
• Ownership of QC Customer Return Strip and Survey activities/reports.
• Reporting of Non-Conformances / Issues using business processes and tools.
• Data gathering, analysis and report writing
• Suggesting and creating improvement proposals.
• Conduct corrective action and preventive action investigations to remove repeat issues.
• Off-site supplier acceptance activities
• Mentoring other inspectors and staff of QC related activities.
• Conducting audits as requested by Head of Quality.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates who are results driven, enthusiastic, enjoy working as part of a team and possess:

• Good standard of education, GCSE level or equivalent
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Quality Control Skills (ideally Vernier, Surface Finish, CMM, Sokia)
• Experience of First Article Inspection (FAI) information and compilation.
• Experience in completion of customer requested FAI'S.
• Experience of validation of Supplier provided FAIs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
