Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Compliance Section in instilling a ‘compliance aware” culture within the Company.

Job Requirement :

This position is located in the Non-Destructive Inspection Laboratory of an Air National Guard Aircraft Maintenance Group, Maintenance Squadron, Fabrication Flight. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The primary purpose of this position is to inspect aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.

As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC INSPECTOR, WG-5801-12, you will inspect a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles such as attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicle launched bridges, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, power shovels, self-propelled earth compacting equipment, self-propelled artillery, etc.; may also inspect heavy artillery, small arms, powered support and other equipment or components of equal or lesser complexity; inspect complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition; inspect equipment to determine repairs needed; inspect the full range of equipment as described above at remote worksites in support of field organizations, field units during field exercise training periods, or before major pieces of equipment are sent for repair to a supporting maintenance facility; serve as inspector on Command Maintenance Evaluation Teams (COMET) and/or as a member of Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Teams (MAIT).

Responsible for the total airworthiness of Aero Club aircraft. Plans, organizes and directs task as required. Assures task are completed within the require time frames and reviews the work of aircraft mechanics to ensure completion. Troubleshoots and determines when the nature and scope of repair can be handled personally or should involve other mechanics; and coordinates their work as necessary. Serves as the technical authority to advise on, examine, and approve all airframe, mechanical, electrical, and hydralic repairs to Aero Club aircraft. As necessary, grounds the aircraft when the severity of a malfunction warrants, and may be responsible for releasing the aircraft to service after repairs are completed.Performs aircraft inspections including pre-flight, post-flight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections. Tests and checks or oversees such actions by others, with test equipment and standards. Uses all tools of the trade, test equipment, test stands, power sources, cockpit instruments, gauges, and controls in performing assigned duties. Checks all functional and support systems, assess pilot comments, operates the engine(s), and may taxi aircraft. Inspects major system components and parts for defects, serviceability, and proper installation using technical manual and following appropriate inspection procedures. Conducts functional and operational tests and repairs/modifications to ensure proper operation. Attends pre-inspection meetings and coordinates with other functional representatives and offices to insure that scheduled inspections are complete.Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up. Progressively engages or turns on all systems operated by cockpit controls. Reads data and settings from cockpit and instruments and gauges, referring to technical manuals, procedures, schematics, and other technical guidelines. Notes functioning and directs or makes adjustments and repairs that are required. Debriefs pilots to determine in-flight malfunctions and trouble shoots systems to correct defects. May taxi aircraft during run-up. Initiates requests for unscheduled tools, equipment, and materials identified during preparation for flight. Maintain records of maintenance inspections performed on assigned aircraft as required. Inspects maintenance record entries made by aircraft mechanics to ensure records are accurate and timely. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. Uses and assures proper fit of required safety equipment and clothing. Follows federal and State rules when storing, using, handling, labeling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with environmental standards. Performs clean-up duties such as cleaning equipment, sweeping, straightening, and lining u tools in the assigned area. Instructs Airframe and Powerplant School. Instructs a complete airframe and powerplant certification course. Develops lesson plans based on course requirements. Evaluates student progress. Administers oral and practical exams to students in accordance with FAA guidelines leading to A&P certification.

This position is located in an Air National Guard Aviation Wing, Maintenance Group. The purpose of this position is to supervise, establish and direct a planned, systematic approach of a quality assurance program designed to provide the maintenance managers confidence that aircraft, aircraft systems, products or supporting processes conform to technical, safety, work load and customer requirements. The position serves as the Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Division. In that capacity, the supervisor plans, implements, and executes a quality assurance program that includes independent surveillance and evaluations of all assigned aircraft, aircraft components, and maintenance personnel. Responsible for conducting the continued planning, re-planning and problem resolution to establish, execute, and maintain an effective long-term CONR data link architecture and OPTASKLINK in the face of technology change, increasing amount of data link assets, and increasingly complex operational interoperability issues. Responsible to maintain an understanding of the various weapon systems' data link capabilities and limiting factors with regards to protocols, bandwidth, and message implementation. Responsible to maintain functional knowledge of AOC command and control (C2) equipment in the nee cell and HCC equipment room. This includes operations, test and training with regards to appropriate message filters, network data load, crypto, assigned frequency, and network timing. Responsible to act as the watch officer responsible for the daily operation of the nee and for providing an accurate single integrated air picture (SIAP) to all network participants in and around the CONUS to maintainairspace control and safety of flight for operational and training assets. Authorizes and directs real-time changes to OPTASKLINK parameters to include data load, crypto, frequency, time slots, or network timing to trouble shoot and deconflict multi-TDL operations, test and training across the area of operation. Responsible to execute the JICO duties in the absence of the CONR JICO. As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record. Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors. Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations. Monitors progress during training and advises when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification.
