About the Role
WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
University students who are curious about insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024
The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.
What you will learn and develop:
Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Corporate Development
 In the Insurance Team, you may be involved in:
- Supporting market research to enrich our market intelligence, as well as database management on a regular basis (e.g. competitor tracking)
- Supporting company profiling as part of the initial opportunities exploration
- Conduct system UAT for upgrades or semi-automated solutions as part of the revamped ways of working within the team
In the Healthcare Team, you may be involved in:
- Mapping private equity health portfolios and conducting desktop research and market scanning during the initial opportunities exploration phase
- Supporting presentations to management team with clear and concise messaging
In the Wealth & Asset Management Team, you may be involved in:
- Support in the overall M&A process for the wealth and asset management sector including origination, assessment and execution of transactions
- Focusing on research, market scanning and tracking of M&A targets and competitor activity
- Analytical support in identifying transaction rationale and building appropriate transaction thesis for internal discussions and external negotiation
What you will need:
- Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study
- Excellent teammate and curious learner
- Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
