Westgate Healthcare is a family run, award winning care home provider. We currently have 8 care homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and East London, with plans to open more in the coming years. All of our care homes are currently rated as ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ by our regulator, the CQC.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our friendly team at Head Office in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to build strong professional relationships. You will be responsible for developing and implementing exciting marketing campaigns that will attract new clients to our homes, build trust and raise the profile of Westgate Healthcare.
We are looking for a flexible team player with a passionate and caring manner, who will take every challenge as an opportunity to market the business and develop our brand identity. The role would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload but also has a particular interest in social media, web content creation, press release and design.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement two major exciting projects in 2024, including a new website and a Go Green sustainability programme. Experience in these fields is desired, but not essential.
About the role:
• Help develop and deliver the business marketing strategy with a key focus on assisting the growth of private clients
• Build relationships with our homes and develop monthly social media content calendars to be used across the group
• Be responsible for keeping our social media platforms up to date and pro-actively engage with followers to help increase engagement and trust in the brand
• Use the latest trends to maximise content on our social media platforms
• Implement and optimise our organic social media campaigns, using data and insights to continuously improve attraction, for both recruitment and home clients
• General website and content management, keeping our news and event pages interesting and engaging, updating imagery and home details where required
• Provide content support for new care home development launches and care home campaigns, including but not limited to: blogs, social media, press releases, brochures, posters and leaflets within the allocated budgets
• Manage and maintain our promotional stock inventory ensuring all care homes have the marketing stock they require
• Assist with sourcing and purchasing new promotional items for the group
• Review print and digital advertising opportunities and make recommendations for each care home
• Maintain our online directories to ensure they are optimised and up-to-date
• Review and respond to reviews from Google and Carehome.co.uk
• Coordinate and create our quarterly care home newsletters via MailChimp
• Co-ordinate and manage in-house competitions and work with our Group Wellbeing Manager to ensure our homes are engaged in these activities
• Use Google Analytics and other tools to analyse campaign effectiveness and create monthly reports
• Assist with regular market research and identify market trends
• Training home representatives on Canva, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
The Marketing Executive role will be based at our modern offices in Borehamwood, but will require travel to all our care homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and London as required.
About you:

• Previous experience in a similar position is essential to be considered
• An excellent writer with the skills to deliver key messages
• Good attention to detail with previous experience in copy writing
• A good understanding and previous experience of using SEO tools and techniques
• Experience of using a CMS and reporting on Google analytics
• Design experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Canva
• Ability to analyse key metrics and create reports
• Experience of using an email marketing platform such as MailChimp
• Highly organised, articulate and self-motivated
