Business Change and Communications Manager

Cheltenham Contract Day rate: £526 - £631 Inside IR35

We're currently seeking an accomplished and highly ambitious Business Change and Communications Manager to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to drive major business improvement, transformation, process change (both cultural and technical) across this complex organisation.

This contract role will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. The opportunity is available in Gloucestershire and based onsite.

Key responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of a Communications Strategy and Plan -

Regular Activities:

*Strategic communications planning

* Stakeholder analysis

* Communications needs analysis

* Communications campaign planning

* Channel design

Events planning and orchestration:

* Assisting with the development of the Strategy function's 'brand' and 'image' both internally and externally to The Authority's organisation.

* Stakeholder / relationship management (as pertaining to delivery of the communications service)

* Organise Town Halls, Comms change network, other led communities/initiatives?

* Manage engagement initiatives such as observers (ensuring sign up, invitations, spares etc)

* Facilitating comms and engagement events

* Compilation of Governance reporting and metrics

* Circulating council papers for comment

* Managing rolling programme of content for screens

Managing and organising key events (e.g. roadshows, townhalls, team awaydays, workshops etc.):

* Drafting high level VTX content for validation and inclusion in briefings, bulletins, newsletters and scripts.

* Responsible for keeping the transformation SharePoint sites HS/LS up to date and coordinating with content creators.

* Maintaining a regular comms plan and supporting workstreams with their comms plans where required.

* Alignment across BAU comms and broader department to identify links and avoid clashes.

* Design creative comms solutions to meet our objectives and goals for business change.

Business Change:

* Organise and run workshops, focus groups and other engagement with staff at all levels, and across all areas. For many areas this will begin with raising awareness and to help staff understand and support any need for change

* Help define the knowledge staff and teams will require to support and embed any business change

* Develop and implement a wider range of business change activities

* Develop and implement mechanisms to review how well business change is being embedded and where necessary recommend further action

* Plan and deliver communications that support any required business change through an imaginative

Organisational wide comms on any project/programme progress and achievements:

* Next steps and milestones that the wider office needs to know

* Leading coordinated efforts from all parts of product to communicate - blogs, updates, meetings - to engage our customers and stakeholders.

* Assisting, developing and delivering product leaders communications strategy.

* Drawing on data from across product and engineering to deliver insights to the office and seniors on what we are working on and our progress

Job Purpose:
To work as part of the wider Shared Services Team to lead and manage all aspects of the school(s) non-teaching function including financial resources, administration, communications, IT related compliance/security (including Cyber Security), human resources, facility and property and health and safety management of the school.
The role will be at Cranleigh and another trust school (tbd) in the local area. Initially the position will be full time at Cranleigh with the view to the role covering another school in the trust, 3 days Cranleigh and 2 days in another setting.The GST is a multi-academy trust serving 23 schools within the Diocese of Guildford across Surrey and Hampshire. Our trust comprises both primary and secondary schools, schools affiliated to the Church of England and others who are not. Divisional Managers are responsible for the development, preparation and maintenance of high quality and timely information and analytical reports to support the Divisions in performance management, clinical and operational processes. This will involve ensuring a high level of analysis, interpretation, synthesis and presentation of information reports to ensure stakeholders are advised of any potential problem areas. The information to be presented in a clear and concise manner and where appropriate to recommend solutions. This involves working closely with clinicians and senior managers within the hospital to understand their requirements, developing reporting tools and providing intelligence to enable services to make better informed decisions. The post holder will need to be engaging, forward thinking, and work with a positive attitude in order to build great working relationships with our customers to improve patient care. To lead, together with the other BI Managers, the teams staff to ensure they are well motivated work effectively and achieve their personal and team objectives. This includes line management HR functions, recruitment functions and ensuring staff are developed and appraised each year. Understand and interpret complex concepts and respond appropriately to tight deadlines. This entails the analysis, investigation and resolution of complex information issues. Divisional Information Managers should be organised, show excellent leadership skills, enthusiastic, inquisitive, have good technical and statistical skills, and passionate to make a real difference to how our hospitals are run.
