POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (APAC) to accelerate the revenue growth and business development. This individual should have extensive business development experience in SaaS, focusing on driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS or regulatory technology sales, a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, and a good understanding of regulated industry, in healthcare, life sciences, food, and consumer products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional team including product and customer success team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Acquisition:

• Identify, engage and secure new clients through consultative selling focusing on mid-size to enterprises in our two vertical industries
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and product demos tailored to client requirement and pain points

- Market Research & Lead Generation:

• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends and potential clients within target industries
• Partner closely with the marketing team to manage and nurture leads generated through them

- Sales Pipeline Management:

• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools ensuring timely follow up, nurturing and conversion of leads

- Contract Negotiations:

• Lead contract negotiations with potential clients, ensuring terms are favourable for all stakeholders resulting in closing deals

- Collaboration with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with marketing, product, customer success and regulatory content team to ensure alignment between client needs and RegASK’s solutions
• Work with presales team to develop proposals to be sent to clients

- Reporting & Analytics:

• Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline status and business development activities providing regular updates to senior management, using CRM tools

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor or equivalent degree required
• 8 – 10 years of business development or sales experience in a SaaS or technology driven environment preferably with the compliance, consumer health or life sciences industries
• Experience selling to senior decision makers in enterprises
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Data driven approach to decision making and strategy development
• Experience with building relationships with stakeholders at different levels

PURPOSE:

• Collaborate with Fujifilm Business Innovation (FB) Japan Headquarters (HQ) and Asia Pacific (APAC) General Manager (GM) in formulating and executing the Graphic Communications (GC) division’s business strategies in APAC region and towards global expansion
• Oversee product marketing activities in 14 subsidiaries in APAC, ensuring success and outcomes, achieving business targets at maximum productivity and efficiency

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Collaborate with Japan HQ and APAC GM in formulating and executing the division’s business strategies in 14 subsidiaries in APAC region to ensure business targets are achieved and profits maximized
• Oversee all new product launch activities in APAC (Southeast Asia, East Asia and Oceania) subsidiaries, from deployment of GC Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, to product trainings, marketing collaterals creation and distribution
• Support new GC product launches in new territories, including USA and Europe
• Oversee the entire GC product life cycle management including the support and management of existing products inquiries from all APAC subsidiaries, product customization and future feature requests, and end-of-life management
• Ensure synergy in GC business performance across APAC
• Provide direction, guidance, coaching and mentorship to all members of the team

To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• 10 years of experience in an Executive or Senior Management role with proven success in a mature Graphic Communications market
• Experience and knowledge in planning, budgeting, financial management and business operations

• Established understanding of the GC market and the digital transformation drivers
• Strong background in APAC Sales and Marketing from within the GC Market

Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager directly reports to the Part Leader of Product Management and, indirectly reports to the Korean expatriate.
