Meeting & Events Sales Manager

We are recruiting for a Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join the team at one of the UK’s largest meeting & event venues - De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.

As the Meeting & Events Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Meetings & Events. This role involves overseeing the diary management of 45 meeting spaces, and ensuring the smooth and strategic operation of the Meetings and Events Sales Office. You will be primarily sales-focused overseeing the corporate enquiries team of five, monitoring the teams enquiries conversions and the achievement of revenue targets through effective diary management, and hands-on support.

Your Skills & Experience:
• You have Diary Management/Meetings & Events Sales Management experience to include enquiry handling, conversion activities, and conducting effective site visits.
• You have a good commercial understanding of Meetings and Events within hotels in order to make crucial decisions to grow the business.
• You have experience working in a fast paced busy event sales environment and working as part of a senior management team to achieve strategic business goals and results
• You have experience of and enjoy supporting and motivating a team to prioritise their workload and achieve targets

Corporate Events Planning Manager

Are you an experienced Corporate Meeting & Events planning manager? Would you like to join one of the largest Hotel event venues in the UK – De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.

De Vere Beaumont Estate has 45 meeting & event spaces and a busy event sales office team of 20. Our events office team focus on either converting sales enquiries or planning the details of confirmed events.

Join our team in this senior role as the Corporate Events Planning Manager where you will lead our team of Meeting & Event Planning Executives. To be considered for this role you must have recent experience planning multiple large conferences, meetings & events. You will also need to have experience managing a team and enjoy keeping a team motivated and engaged.

In return the role offers up to £47,000 per annum plus sales office bonus scheme offering the opportunity to earn 10% of your annual salary (paid quarterly), 31 days holiday, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel, plus additional stays for just £50 and a paid day off for your birthday, to name just a few!

This is a full time on site role in Old Windsor - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
